Best skin care routine?

overall, my skin is not too bad. i get a few blemishes every once and a while, but nothing major. i'm looking to try organic products to use on my skin, so that i dont have to be putting all of the medicine thats in normal cleansers on my face. what is the best natural way to achieve healthy skin that doesn't cause blemishes or dry it out?Best skin care routine?
Drink water!

Water is good for the skin. Have 6-8 glasses every day and it will keep your skin healthy and clean.

If it seems hard to drink that much water in a day, just have a glass every hour starting at noon. Or if you are busy and going somewhere, just bring a water bottle with you and drink the entire bottle.

Good luck!

^ . ^Best skin care routine?
cleansing, toning, moisturizing, and exfoliating are key to good skin. (facialists words, and words of the lady at the clinique counter lol)

i tried this organic brand called ALBA (like jessica alba haha) its awesome. it doesnt smell weird, the packadging is nice, the cleanser made my face soft, same with the toner and moisturizer. make sure you get one with SPF. but yeah, alba cleanser, toner, moisturizer, and scrub twice a week. you can get it at health food stores online:)

EDIT: here is the site

http://www.albaorganics.com/index.php?ti…

this is the stuff.
Well here are some good habits to start for clearer skin:

~ Cleanse, Tone, Moisturize ( twice a day).[ Alba is a good brand for all natural skin care products: http://www.albabotanica.com/index.php?ti… ]

~ Change your pillow cases every week.

~ Change your bed sheets around every 2-4 weeks.

~ Don't pick you face/acne.

~ When you go to grab that can of soda, try some water instead.

~ Exfoliate you face twice a week (w/ a scrub). [ St. Ives Apricot Scrub is a great 100% natural one: http://www.stives.com/skin-care-products… ]

Hope this Helps!
NO MATTER WHAT FACE SOAP YOU USE, YOU ALWAYS HAVE TO HAVE A REGIMEN- MEANING YOUR FACE SOAP TO CLEANSE, A TONER TO RESTORE THE PH IN YOUR SKIN (IF YOU DO NOT BALANCE OUT THE OILS IN YOUR SKIN, YOUR BODY NATURALLY STARTS PRODUCING MORE OIL) AND THEN ATLAST, A MOISTURIZER, THIS IS THE SECRET TO ANY SKIN REGIMEN ALL 3 IN THIS ORDER..ALSO OF COURSE ALWAYS DRINK YOUR WATER, DO THIS, AND IN ABOUT 2 WEEKS YOU WILL SEE THE CHANGE IN YOUR SKIN OVERALL..

GOODLUCK

-RMORCH
Eat lots of fruits %26amp; vegetables, and well eat healthy overall.

Wash your face daily, morning %26amp; night.

Use scrub once a week. If your pores aren't that big, just use a mild/gentle one.

That's what I would recommend (:
try raw/organic honey for natural home remedy.

or try ClearPores :)

Best skin care products?

I'm looking to find some new skin care products to use.

I have pale/fair skin, no acne ( I do get an occasional pimple though..) and normal skin (not dry not oily) I would like to find something to even out my skin tone and maybe something that will make my skin a little darker, since its so pale right now..

Thanks!Best skin care products?
getting the occasional pimple is part of being female as it is your hormones fluctuating. you sound like you have really good normal skin. here are my suggestions:

my preferences of face products are: kiehls. it is well formulated, reasonably priced and it does what it says. they have a great line of products that will suit all skin types. another great brand that many facialist recommend is mario badescu. they are very reasonably priced but maybe hard to find if you do not live in a larger city. i also recommend the 3 step clinique program of cleanser, toner and moisturizer. clinique is the easiest to get. many department stores carry kiehls. you can find all of this stuff at sephora.

from the drug store try oil of olay regenerist as it will even out your skin tone over time. aveeno is also great as it has soy extract that will even and brighten your skintone.

as for the darker skin, only a self tanner will do this. i strongly recommend clarins as it is the most natural and easiest to get. fake bake is a great line of self tanners. many celebrities love this line but can be hard to find.

the key to a great self tanner look is exfoliate and moisturize. do this at least three days in a row before applying the self tanner to ensure it will go on evenly and not be patchy and flaky looking.

another option is a bronzer. i recommend cargo as it gives a look of a very lovely glow. apply it to where the sun would hit your face....forehead, nose, apples of cheek and chin. i like a very light dusting with a large brush all over the face and then apply a little more on those areas. apply it lightly and then build up to more. also, make sure you up it on in natural light to make ensure you do not wear too much.Best skin care products?
johnsons clean and clear solution very good for any pimples. maybe follow with a facial moisturiser that contains a hint of self tan, theres a few good ones out there like olay and johnsons holiday skin
you want a brand THE BODY SHOP.
Hi,

Why don't you try '; Murad';. It's very effective. Now,they're offering FREE trial with 30-Day supply.Check it out here:

  • It's worth to spend money in superficial skin care or in electronic stuff like laptop, Ipod, Tv...?

Depends on wich is more important to you. Being good looking or having electronics which will be out dated in a monthIt's worth to spend money in superficial skin care or in electronic stuff like laptop, Ipod, Tv...?
It depends on if you have extra money to do the things that are important to you. Skin care is a investment because the skin is the largest organ in the body. We can usually see how healthy a person is by looking at their skin. Many people can afford high end products but I'm just wondering if Oil of Olay is just as good. It is something to research. It's worth to spend money in superficial skin care or in electronic stuff like laptop, Ipod, Tv...?
Sounds like you already made up your own answer.

Over time skin care products can pay off in moister skin. Skin is the largest organ in our bodies. It acts as a barrier to keep out things from outside the body that can cause the body harm.

If you don't take are of your skin %26amp; it cracks you're more prone to staph infections %26amp; pollutants from air, water, etc.

Now, electronics have obsolescence built into them.

I have a great TV that's very compact, nice looking with great picture %26amp; about 20 years old !!!! Another one that's about 30 years old!!!!

Now as of Feb 2009, I have to get rid of them because I don't think they have enough connections to hook up those stupid converter boxes. That's the government interfering for the industry's sake.

Do I really need to spend money on those converters?

Computers...when will they work out the quirks on the Microsoft Vista program?!?

Best skin care brand for teenager girls?

When I was in high school, I used Clinique. They're very good at helping with acne and as a teenager, just like most, I had a huge problem with that. Not even just their skin care, but their make up helped a lot too. They have some good deals as well and will find a great line for you.

Now I use Origins, because it's all natural and the products I use (from the A Perfect World line) keep my skin really healthy and soft. I have never liked the way my skin looks or feels as much as I do now.

However, both of these lines are a little more expensive than drugstore lines, so if you're on a budget, I suppose I would recommend Neutrogena. But really, with Origins and Clinique, you absolutely get what you paid for, it is so worth it. Their products last a really long time too.

I also work at Origins, so if you have any questions about it or skin care in general, just ask! Good luck! :)

Not to put anyone else's suggestions down, but I'm letting you know from personal experience, that Proactive is not very good for you. There are so many acidic and alcoholic ingredients that can't be good for your skin. I had acne in high school, like I said, and while yes, proactive worked, right when I stopped using it, my acne came back so much worse. This is because the ingredients are so strong that your skin becomes dependent on them. Do yourself a favor and don't waste your money.Best skin care brand for teenager girls?
for my oily skin I use Coonobabe Pepino cleanser, followed by their Manzanillo toner. wash with cleanser, then pat dry with clean towel, I then apply toner with cotton pad and allow to air dry.

    Chemical skin care products?

do you think that chemical products are a scam and only address the problem temporally and then create an even bigger problem down the line so u have to buy more products. if this is true, it just goes to show that you cant trust anyone.Chemical skin care products?
Yes it is true, they make the problem even worse due to skin irritation or they are too strong. I just stick with the natural products, better for your skin and no side effects.Chemical skin care products?
Actually chemical products are better. Most of them are a mixture the combine Hydroxy acides, potent antioxidants, vitamins, natuaral botanicals and enzymes etc etc, which mean that they work better on the problem and have much better benefits.

On the other hand, ';natural'; products, many of them work well but I have seen too many people have allergic reactions to them.

In both cases, non of them make the problem worse, however, depending what the problem is, you might have to upgrade to other products or get other products to keep and maintain your results.

One more thing that you should know:

Chemical products penetrate and work deeper than natural products.

    Best skin care products?

I have oily skin and i would like to know what the best skin care product would be and how it will affect my skin?Best skin care products?
Check out the Clean %26amp; Clear webpages. I used their products when I had acne %26amp; oily skin problems and it really helped me.

Go to Clean %26amp; Clears~~ Find Your Own Groove~~ section to find out what products will best help your skin.

I still use Clean %26amp; Clear Morning Burst Facial Scrub (about twice a week) %26amp; a Daily Cleaning Pad just to prevent acne from returning.Best skin care products?
if you have oily skin, use oil control skincare products.

Cleanse your skin twice daily, use toner to take away dead skin cell, then apply oil free moisturizer.

Twice or three times week take time to scrub and apply Pore Cleansing mask to cleans away impurities before your daily skincare routine.

I have not seen your skin so I really cannot suggest what is best for you but I tried Aesop and Origin It's organic and can be use by sensitive skin.
I highly recommend using this amazing organic oil known as Argan oil. It has been popular in Israel and Morocco for years. It became really popular in Europe when models started using it, and is now found in all the spas and salons, I grew up in France and have been using it for years. It absorbs into the skin really quickly, faster than most creams and lotions. It works wonders for the skin, hair, nails, and skin ailments. It is all around the most beneficial and rarest organic skin care product on the planet. It is also ideal for oily skin because Argan oil contains a sebum regulating action. For some reason it only grows in Morocco. I found one website that has the best directions for all its different uses. I contacted them and they said they start selling in two weeks. You can register for a discount now and future promotions.

Truly the best I have found is bee luscious cosmetics. I use the papaya enzyme products and my skin has never looked or felt so amazing its incredible stuff.

The only thing I know about that is proven to work is ProActive..Best skin care product?
I know, you might have heard this a million times already but it works. Use ProActive. It usually helps me but it may not help all people. Use it every night before you go to sleep. And although it doesn't say it in the commercial, wash your face off before going to bed.

But it's true, ProActive really works.

Ive had bad acne since I was 15. And Im sure you have heard so many peoples stories. But mine was bad. Ive tried everything, from all the prescriptions from doctors...to birth control that helps Acne (Alysse) but NOTHING worked. I always thought Proactive would work, but way to expensive. I finally was introduced to a product by ';Arbonne'; Clear Advantage. It is a 3 step process....BUT I dont use the 3 steps. I only purchased the skin acne cream, and within 2 weeks I noticed a difference. My face is so clear...its changed the way I look, and Im so happy. If you google Arbonne ...go to their website. You can order it online. Just for the cream its about $12.00 (thats Canadian) If your in the states it will be cheaper. Check it out, its incrediable. Good Luck! :)

    I use:

    TimeWise 3-in-1 Cleanser

    Blemish Control Toner

    Even Complexion Essence

    Microderm Abrasion

I have eczema too! I use the microdermabrasion set, and am careful to keep it from my eye area (which you should anyway because that area is so sensitive). Foundation is fine, and shouldn't bother it. Blemish control toner: keep away from the eye area. The Timewise cleanser is fine for your whole face, but keep the moisturizer away from your eye area. Switch from the firming eye cream to the indulge soothing eye gel. It is great for that delicate area and still offers a lot of moisture, but might be better for eczema prone skin. Keep the even complexion essence away from the eye area.I use Mary Kay. I recently discovered I have eczema in the eye area. What MK skin care routine should I use?

Proactiv main active ingredient is benzoyl peroxide. This chemical will not only dry your skin, a temporary problem, but will also age your skin. This is because the benzoyl peroxide works by releasing active radicals that will make the pore a bad environment for the bacterium involved in acne, Propionibacterium acnes. Unfortuntely, the free radicals will also oxidize the lipids in the cell mebranes, increase mutation rate, etc. Not a nice picture.

The following are ways of keeping acne under control while also gurading the health of your skin:

    1) Keep sebum secretion under control using sea kelp bioferment, niacinamide and EGCG from green tea.

    2) Normalize keratinization and prevent the exfoliated keratinocytes from sticking together, closing the pore. Go for white willow bark extract, which will also reduce inflammation. Other helpful actives are sulfur, retinyl acetate (or other retinoids). Chemical peels will also help but make sure that the glycolic and other acids are not neutralized using bases like sodium hydroxide, a common ploy used to impress consumers with high concentrations of acid that will do nothing because they have been converted into (useless) salts.

    3) Decrease inflammation with actives like white liquorice extract. Avoid steroids, anti-inflammatories that everybody likes because they are so fast. With prolonged use they may cause skin atrophy and steroid acne.

    4) Kill acne bacteria: tea tree oil, Coleus essential oil. Propolis should also work but many of our clients do not like the smell. Avoid benzoyl peroxide, which will kill bacteria but will also age your skin and increase the probability of skin cancer.

    5) For men and women: inhibit the activity of the enzyme 5-alpha reductase using saw palmetto and wild yam extracts, this active will reduce skin androgens, reducing the frequency of acne lesions.

    Good luck and best wishes

Depends on your skin. For me, noxzema is good but it drys up ur skin then you end up putting lotion on. If you have deep, moderate to severe acne, accutane is the best, but you need to see a dermatologist for it. If you have just a couple of pimples here and there, just a cleansing regime like proactive is the best. It won't completely take care of it, but it'll control it somewhat.

Wow, you use different kinds of skin care brand on your face alone? Cleansing, then toning , then moisturizing if your face is not the oily type and putting on sunblock cream after is the good routine. Use only one line of skin care product one at a time. If you're using clinique, then get clinique cleanser, toner and moisturizer , if you use proactive, get the proactiv products alone. Try one brand one at a time and see first how it works to your skin before shifting to another brand, okey?

Wow, at first I read this and it seemed like a kinda of creepy question.. Like you have purse made of human skin and want to know how to care for it.. ?

Moisturize! Moisturize 2x times a day.. I use cocoa butter and my skin is very, very soft! Though any lotion you like is fine.. Especially, moisturize AFTER a bath or shower... That's key.. Usually I use Neutrogena oil... It's soft/silky...

For hair. I do NOT wash my hair everyday.... I also wash my hair with baking soda mixed with my shampoo to take out any styling product residue! It's cheap and works really well... Baking soda is also good mixed with your body gel to exfoliate your skin at well!

I use Garnier Fructis it works pretty well and I get a lot of compliment on my hair/skin...

If you hair is dry you can use olive oil as an oil treatment.. Just rub a small amount through hair and cover with a plastic bag... I use a blow dryer to speed up the process... Leave on 15 minutes.. and wash hair... I do this in the winter...

Good luckWhats the best way to take care of human skin like make it soft silk and etc beautifulthings?and hair too?
I use Nexxus shampoo. It makes my hair very very soft. No matter what race you are. Nexxus is kind of expensive but it's worth it. Also u can try Jane and Carter solutions. All of you should contact Proactive with your complaints......I sure would.
Hey! All of you. I found the same thing with the proactive line. What a rip off. Avon carries a line called Porefection (cleanser, toner, mask, and lotion) that is much better. I watch the sales and pick it up for $3.99 each. I am sick and tired of being ripped off. Give it a try.
I have been using Proactiv for almost a year now, and I don't know why. It hasn't seemed to help much. I have noticed that there are two different cleansers. One is in a bigger bottle and is used for your face and body, and then the smaller bottle is for your face. The larger bottle has green scrub beads while the smaller bottle has white. Hope this helps
I used Proactiv for a long time with not so great results. I had acne that progressively got worse with the use of Proactiv. I went to a great dermatologist and he recommended that I get on Acutane, which is an extremely powerful drug, by prescription only. It was the only thing that got rid of my acne and pretty much changed the make up of my skin even after being off of the drug for 2 years. He was of the opinion that Proactiv is a useless product that should be taken off the market because its nothing more than snake-oil. I recommend Acutane to anyone that wants to clear up their skin. In reality, it's for those people that have severe cystic type acne, but keep in mind, especially if you're a woman, that you have to take regular pregnancy tests because this drug causes severe birth defects in unborn babies.
Hi, I can't say anything about Proactiv, but if you need a new product I can recommend one that a friend of mine is using. It is from a company called Arbonne and it is their Clear Advantage Line. She is 30 and has tried everything out there. This has worked where nothing else did. Her face improved so much that even my husband commented how much better her face looked. You can check it out in their online catalog at http://www.wonderful.myarbonne.com Good luck to you.
My sister is a devoted user of Proactive products. She swears by it. She also purchases it from e-Bay so I suggest you check that out.

    HELP! Skin care issues.?

Can anyone recommend good skin care products. I've had a mild break out (not tons of zits, but a few on my cheeks) but I also tend to have dry skin that needs moisturizing. If I put on lotion, I break out more, if I don't I get fine lines. I'm looking for a quality product line. Any tips or suggestions?HELP! Skin care issues.?
you dont need to go and spend $30+ to take care of the problem here's what i would do (you can buy this stuff @ wal-mart). Buy a face wash like neutrogena for acne that has Sacrylic acid in it. also get an Alcohol-free Toner. and buy a moisterizer that has SPF 15 in it that also has either sacrylic acid in it or benozoic acid (not sure thats how u spell) to wear during the day. at night use the face wash and toner again and use a night cream with the sacrylic or benozoic acid in it (this treats acne). do this everyday and use a face Masque that tones and dries out blemishes once a week, your skin will be cleared up in a week 2 @ the most good luck!HELP! Skin care issues.?
Natures cure. The little white pills will help your acne on you chheks and the lotion that comes along with it will also hep your cheek-cne. It can be found in the skin care isle at walmart for 8.23, 8.30 plus tax. For your dry skin, Neutrogena has a cleansing lins specially formulated for dry skin. It's called Neutrogena something, then is says for dry skin on it. You'll know it cause it will have other products around that say for coimbination skin, and oily skin (by neutorgena) for moisturizung try aveeno poriducts. They contain oatmeal extract which it a really good emoillent and moisturizer.
I would guess you have to try a product with apricot scrub like St.Ives it refreshens your face or try Olay its a type of face moisterizer choose any type that you would perfer %26amp; you can find it in Ralphs.
as commercialized as this sounds, ProActive works. really. especially if you do it regulary.

oh, and wash your sheets once a week, or even your pillowcase. And wash your face with Ivory soap before going to bed helps.
Dermalogica works very well. my skin is just like yours. I have been able to moisturize without breaking out. You can get a free face mapping at any spa which sells Dermalogica. They will recommend the products which will work best for you. Ann exfoliate, exfoliate, exfoliate. try zinc 50mg and vit a 10,000mg each day. they help with dryness. non dairy acidophilus fights bacteria growth and helps keep acne at bay. you can find these items at GNC or any vitamin store.
Talk to a dermatologist, but use biotherm. It is very light, and I use it. It has makeup and skin cleansers.
proactiv...even if you don't have a lot of acne it will keep it away. It also keeps ypur skin hydrated.
Dermatologist Recommended Purpose Dual Treatment Moisture Lotion with SPF 15
Nutra-lift has a nice anti-acne product, as does Obsessively Organics by Kiss My Face. Do NOT use Proactiv--yes it works, but it contains chemicals that will prematurely age your skin and cause other damage to your body.
    use tonner containing glycolic acid
pro active is the best!! it works in like 1 night. good luck

u should go to ur doctor and ask if Differin is right for u i love it and it works really fast
This is what I do and I rarely get pimples. actually i really only get them if i stray off this routine for a day!!

(this is assuming you shower in the morning)

Start with Neutrogena Oil-Free Acne Wash when you shower. The formula is a bit drying, but it's very worth it because it gets rid of pimples much quicker than anything else I've tried, and prevents them from coming back. To combat the dryness, use Clean %26amp; Clear Oxygenating Facial Moisturizer after you shower. Then put on your makeup as usual.

Before you go to bed, use an astringent, like Sea Breeze Actives Clear Pore Astringent. This gets the oils you've picked up throughout the day off your face, so they can't get in and make you break out while you sleep.
pantience provine acnee faice wash oil free
try clearasil ultra daily face wash. it doesnt really clear up ur skin in EXACTLY 3 days like how it says on the bottle but it takes about a week or so of continued use. if that doesnt wrk then try clean and clear morning burst cleanser. it smells great and clears your face up within a week and no its not tru that he micro beads burst...they just dissolve! but i mostly recommend morning burst-- i had more luck with it.
Proactive is right good i love it and it works and really fast too
You've got to try Carley's Clear %26amp; Smooth!! If you have severe acne, try their Industrial Strength Formula (specially made for teens) but if you have mild acne, try their Original Formula. You can get a refund at any time after purchasing it if you don't like it! You'll love it cuz it's CHEAP!

    GOOD LUCK!!
i use noxzema it really works trust me!
proactive or stridex, both work equally for me or just try going to the salon every once in a while!!!DOUBLE BONas for you too!
Use Noxema Face Wash. It comes in a blue bottle, and it works. If you put Dove Bar Soap on your face first, it'll reduce the sting of the Noxema.

If you do that once or twice daily, it'll prevent breakouts.
I use something very great, but it prescription. It is called ';benzamycin'; and works GREAT. You'll break out the first week, but after that, I haven't gotten a zit in 2 years.
Please think ! When did your face start to break out ? When you were in your early teens , right ? Well Acne has nothing to do with eating chocolate, keeping your face clean or any of the 10,000 other wives tales about it. Do not waste your money on a bunch of chemicals or cleaning agents. That stuff will ruin your skin.

Acne is about hormones ! If you do not believe me then track the pimple breakouts on your calendar every month. You will see an amazing correlation !

So get on a birth control pill and within 3 months you will have skin like you did when you were 10 years old.

Best skin care routine for moderate acne if not seeing doctor.?

there are already lots of related questions but maybe some of you actually found something that worked for you. ThanxBest skin care routine for moderate acne if not seeing doctor.?
    Hi,

Yes you are right that good skin care can keep acne under control and at a mild level. Pl. find details which may be useful for you.

Wash the skin twice a day using a mild soap, especially after exercise. Avoid scrubbing the skin. Hard scrubbing of the skin is harmful because it irritates the openings of the oil glands and can cause them to be more tightly closed.

Avoid putting any oily or greasy substances on the face. Oily and greasy substances make acne worse by blocking oil glands. If unavoidable, use water-based cover-up cosmetics, and wash them off at bedtime.

Shampoo the hair daily. Avoid hair tonics or hair creams especially greasy ones. These substances spread to the face and aggravate the acne.

Avoid picking blackheads as this delays healing. In general, it is better not to ';pop'; pimples.

    Exercise regularly and keep fit.

If you are taking medicines for acne pl. don't stop the acne medicine too soon. It may take up to 8 weeks for a good response.

Have you heard of mark.? It is Avon's daughter brand - geared toward women ages 16-30 something. They have a brand new skincare line that is great.

One of my favorite things is Mist Opportunity. It is a multi-tasking refresher that works perfect to set your makeup, and also refresh during the day. At only $8, it is well worth it. I love the glow my face has after I use it.

I have use the foot care line from co-worker who sells it at my dad job. I would buy from her often because I had less time when I was working and I think you get your money's worth plus your order usually only takes on week from date of order. My sister uses the Avon Face Cleaner for Ance skin with Salicye Acid 3% it helps to heal the pimples.

Can I ask about skin care?

Im trying some new products - bio oil and coal face from Lush. ive tried the bio oil to get rid of my acne scars but it seems to have made my acn e worse over night. is it meant to do this or is it just unlucky as i have stressed etc?

also what benefits have the liqorice and charcoal on my skin?

i have combination (oily and very dry) skin with acne and visable pores! any advice? thanks :)Can I ask about skin care?
Well, as far as the Bio-Oil goes, I've heard absolutely wonderful things about it, but I'm not sure if it's all hype. You really should ONLY put that on the scars you're looking to fade; since it's an oil, it might clog your pores, you know? And, as you said, stress surely could play a role in that.

I haven't done the licorice or charcoal, nor have I heard very much about that but it sounds good to me. Hey, if it works well for you, send me a message or something because I'd love to know.

If I were you, I'd probably buy two different lotions. Since you have acne, you probably use some kind of benzoyl peroxide or salicylic acid product, right? And may I also venture a guess that your cheeks are the very dry part of your face, but your T-zone is where it's oily? Cause that's kinda how my skin is, my cheeks are fine but sometimes I feel like if I could just sell the oil on my face I'd be so rich, haha. So buy a moisturizing lotion for the parts where it's dry, and use something with acne medicine where you have acne.

People bash Proactiv quite a lot, but I really like their lotion, face mask and spot treatment. Their face wash and toner could be a lot better, though. I also tried a couple tea tree oil products from The Body Shop, my favorite was probably their foaming face wash - it leaves your skin soft but totally not oily, and it seems to make it smoother too. If you want it, the link's right down there, but I'd suggest using one of those exfoliating towels or gloves since I feel like they make a huge difference in how good my face looks and feels after I wash it.

    http://www.thebodyshop-usa.com/bodyshop/鈥?/a>

As for the matter of your pores, I don't know :( I'm also still on the never ending search for how to get my face to not get oily throughout the day, so if you ever figure that one out, please share it :) And wow, I was totally going to say something else, but I forgot what it was. So good luck with the whole thing!

Is This A Good Skin Care Routine?

first i use sugar mixed with cetaphil every morning as a scrub

then i wash my face with regular soap and water

    then use phisoderm anti-blemish gel

the mix clean and clear 0.5% salycic acid with cetaphil cream as a moisturizer

is that a good skin care routine, for oily, acne-prone skin.Is This A Good Skin Care Routine?
I read somewhere that it's a good idea to exfoliate your face at night rather than in the morning as the skin renews itself every night as you sleep.Exfoliation at night is a good way of helping your skin to breathe and rejuvinate.

Rather than a sugar scrub, try St.Ives Apricot Scrub for Acne ad Blemish prone skin.Is This A Good Skin Care Routine?
I feel like you're washing your face too much. It sounds like a good idea, but it can dry out skin, which actually leads to MORE oil production (I know, sounds weird). You only need a three-step program. The first step should be any kind of cleanser or scrub (pick one...you don't need both). The second should be a toner/astringent (Clean %26amp; Clear makes one I really like, and they have different formulas for different skin types). And the last step is a moisturizer; in your case, you're going to want an oil-free version formulated for oily skin so it won't leave your skin greasy.

Other than that, you can use a benzoyl peroxide cream on individual acne spots to dry them out. Benzoyl peroxide is great for killing acne, while salicylic acid is really better for blackheads. It will dry out your skin, so make sure you're not rubbing it all over your face--just on each individual acne spot as needed, up to three times daily.

    Hope that helped!!
soap is not good for the face dermalogica i have found out is go they have acne line you can get

I have sensitive skin, I'm going shopping for skin care products? any suggesstions?

    i have a budget total of $20...

yeah.. i have st ives apricot scrub

    jergens mosutrizing cleanser

clear and clear oil absorbing sheets

and astrigent.I have sensitive skin, I'm going shopping for skin care products? any suggesstions?
Hi! I would def. stick to one brand at a time here to make sure if you develop any allergies, you'll know where they're coming from. It seems like you have sensitive, but slightly oily skin from the products you described. I would check out Neutrogena products. They're available virtually everywhere and they work great. I break out from EVERYTHING and I haven't had a problem with them in the 12 years I've been using them. I would recommended a gentle cleanser with a touch of salicylic acid if you break out. I would only exfoliate once a week with cleanser scrub so that you don't irritate and dry your skin out. I would keep the oil absorbing sheets in my purse so you can blot out excess during that day. I think if you make be better off using a gentle make up remover at the end of the night to get all the make up and junk the builds up in your pores throughout the day. Maybe try a light matte moisturizer to get rid of the greasies and give your skin a pinch of moisture with making you oil slick. Check out the website. You can even do a little personal skin consultation on yourself! Good luck! Hope I could help!I have sensitive skin, I'm going shopping for skin care products? any suggesstions?
try to stick with one brand at a time so when you start noticing that the product isn't working well with your skin, you would know what product it is.

I've heard from several people that organic products are working well for them. I would like to try them also but i have sensitive skin as well and i'm only using St. ives scrub and moisturizer, and so far its going well on my skin. There's a organic skin care aisle at my local Longs Drugs store....so maybe you could look that up if you have LOngs Drugs near you.
Try puritycosmetics,co,uk. It is really good!
St. Ives is great! I've been using that for a couple of years.

The Cetaphil cleanser and moisturizer also really good for sensitive skin, as they're fragrance free and don't irritate the skin.

I've also heard wonderful things about la roche posay effaklar cleanser. Hope that helps!
Try going to Whole foods and getting something all natural and organic. You can spend about $25 for a good cleanser and moisterizer. There is one I really like that is in an orange bottle and contains vitamin c.

Who has used exposed skin care?

i am thinking of getting a 30 day trial kit of an acne treatment called exposed. if you have used it, what were the results for you?Who has used exposed skin care?
I've been in that situation and there is really nothing you can do about it. There are things you can do to try to reduce the blemishes and get rid of acne/pimples temporarily but you will always be finding yourself cleaning your face or your body depending on where it's at.

I mean of course your acne should go away eventually but for some this is the case their whole life.

I'm 29 years old and have been suffering from these little pests since I was a teenager. I tried all sorts of face washes from the local grocery store and what not, but nothing seemed to work. If anything it would just make my skin dry and itchy.

Literally the best acne face wash I've ever used has been this stuff called clearpores. It has got rid of the acne to quickest and has been a success ever since I got it. It's unique cause of it's herbal supplement you take a long with it that helps your skin from the inside out. I saved money on it at skincleansingsystem.com at the time which was helpful.

You should really look into this stuff and if you can to assure the best results, get the 3 month supply because if it doesn't work it will still save you butt on the return policy.

Well good luck and best wishes.

What is your Skin Care Routine?

Mine is to wash my face with Neutrogena's Oil-Free Acne Wash two times a day, remove my eye makeup with Estee Lauder's Eye Makeup Remover, wash my face with Estee Lauder's Foaming Cleanser once a day, and hydrate my skin with Pond's Dry Skin CreamWhat is your Skin Care Routine?
you are having some skin problems aren't you? over washing not only over dries your skin which causes it to then overproduce oil and cause more breakouts but it also breaks down the skins elasticity which means after just a few years of this you will begin to age prematurely which isn't reversible. then ponds on top of it. whew, that seriously has mineral oil which is the the top known irritant to skin, or acne causer. eye makeup removers all have the same base of baby oil for the main ingredient so use estee lauders if you like it but baby oil does the same and is cheaper.

i have to suggest washing no more than morning and night and switching to an oil free, water based moisturizer with sunscreen. by cutting out the third washing you give your skin time to heal in between cleanings. plus washing has nothing to do with acne. its hormones, genetics and stress. sure cleansers can help, but overdoing it will make it worse not better.

oh i use sfc waterless face wash 1x a day and then apply duac. i don't have acne anymore despite the fact that i stuggled with it for over 20 years and tried everything otc and prescription before discovering these 2 great products. What is your Skin Care Routine?
I use Reverse by Rodan + Fields. I have sun damage and this line targets sun spots and dullness due to sun damage. It is only available through independent consultants. Loved it so much, I began selling it.

then if i have a inflamed spot, i put visine on it, it reduces the redness just like it would for your eyes. and if i have a pimple or something i put toothpaste on, it dries out the oils
    This is what i do:

1.If you don't already have them, you will need to buy a cleanser, toner, moisturizer, exfoliant, cotton wool pads %26amp; a face mask. Unless you have full blown acne, products such as clean %26amp; clear, Oxy or Clearasil aren't recommended - these products are way too harsh and strip the skin, leaving it very dry and uncomfortable. Instead use natural, gently cleansing products which will remove excess oil and promote healthy, clear skin. However, never use a very rich moisturiser on oily skin! And don't use face-cleansing wipes every day in place of a cleanse-tone-moisturize routine.

2.Cleanse, tone and moisturize twice a day - once in the morning before you put on makeup, and once at night before you go to bed.

3.Cleansing - first, wash your hands so you won't be transferring bacteria to your face. Splash your skin with warm water. Apply the cleanser, and leave it for a minute or so to allow it to dissolve dirt and makeup. Then remove, either with damp cotton pads or by splashing with warm water, gently wiping until ALL the cleanser is removed. Never leave any cleanser on your face, as this encourages spots and imperfections. Dry your face gently with a clean towel.

4.Tone. Apply a small amount of toner to a cotton wool pad and wipe over your face. This will make sure all the cleanser is removed.

5.Moisturize - when the toner is dried, apply a small blob of moisturizer, gently massaging into your face.

6.If you haven't applied enough moisturizer and your skin still feels a little tight, then apply a bit more. If you apply too much %26amp; it feels too oily, then gently blot with some tissue.

7.Exfoliate - this only needs to be done twice a week. I usually remove makeup first, then gently massage the exfoliator in for half a minute, rinse, tone %26amp; moisturize.

8.Face Mask - use a nice, natural face mask with Kaolin once or twice a week.Always make sure your skin is squeaky clean before applying the mask. Shower or have a hot bath whilst the mask is on to make it more effective.
    Morning:

University Medical Severe Acne Antibacterial Cleanser (an acne cleanser)

Dermalogica Daily Microfoliant (a daily exfoliator)

University Medical Severe Acne Toner (an acne astringent/toner)

Dermalogica Skin Renewal Booster (a highly concentrated serum that helps your skin shed dead cells and regenerate more quickly)

    Olay Moisturizer

    Evening:

Dermalogica Precleanse (a makeup remover for face and eyes)

    Same cleanser and toner

University Medical Severe Acne Repair Lotion or Retinol Renewal Complex

    Olay Moisturizer

    Twice a Week:

    homemade sugar scrub

homemade banana and honey face mask (for moisturizing and softness)

My skin is clear, but I have large pores which makes me very susceptible to breakouts. Although I break out from time to time, my skin gets dull very quickly so I use intense moisturizers after using my regular acne skin care. It sounds like it would be counterproductive, but it works for me.

I'm looking for a great skin care system.......?

I'm 52 years old, and my skin is oily, blotchy, and prone to breakouts. I've been using Proactiv, but it doesn't seem to be working for me. Any suggestions will be greatly appreciated.I'm looking for a great skin care system.......?
I think Philosophy makes a great line of basics. Purity cleanser, Hope in a Jar moisturizer (not too heavy for day or night) and Hope in a Tube for the eye and lip area. From there you can try some of their microdermabrasion products to help even out the blotchiness. Their goal is for their customers to have ';make-up optional skin';, and mine is.I'm looking for a great skin care system.......?
Avon's Anew line is really good and affordable.
I'm 21 with the same sort of skin... I've been using CO Bigelow (Bath and Body works sells it) for oily prone skin... It's a 3 part system with Foaming Facial Wash, Skin Toner, and a water based moisturizer... It's worked great for me... I think it's about $50 for the set, but I've only used half of each bottle in 3 months... So it's well worth the $$$
Definetly Dermaologica I firmly believe in it for all types of skin. I had adult acne 2 years ago and it was the only product that works my skin is brilliant now. I sell it in my own salon I believe in it that much. I would recommend you use the special cleansing gel as your wash and Active Moist as ur moisturiser you should then pick yourself and eyecream I would recommend Multivit eye and lip cream for ur age. Hope it helps
Hey...I'm 42, and used to break out too before I started using ARbonne products. I mix and match the NutriminC re9 anti-aging line and the ';Intelligence'; not-so-basic skin care system. No more break outs...or oily skin.

Oh...I also ordered the Mineral powder foundation. It's WONDERFUL! a lot like Bare Mineral's but about half the price! My skin looks fresh, clean, and kinda glowy.

The proactive is really harsh on your skin. My daughter was on that, and switched to Arbonne. No salycilic acid, and her skin cleared up in 3 days and feels moist!

Anyways..... I have samples of both of the skin care lines available for free. I would recommend you try the ';intelligence'; line first because it's self-balancing and your skin needs to heal.

Maybe later you might want to try the NutrminC Re9 line.

e-mail me if you like....I'd be happy to mail you a sample!

    Lori
lancome is pretty good for girls but very expensive
my mother is 49 and has been raving about the oil of olay regenerist line. i have used some at times when i am at her house and i like how they arent harsh on your skin at all. i know they have a lot of products now to choose from. she also wants to try there new definity (i think thats the name) line.

i am 28 and prone to adult acne and i like neutrogena or clinique's acne line is good.

also for those pimples that u want vanished right away, i found l'occitane lavender water is good. u just dab it on the pimple with a qtip and it should be gone overnight or at least in two days or less.
Biotherm works fine for me. But beside skin care, U need to watch out what you eat as well. A clean body system will enhance your health and the look of your skin. Enough sleep + at least 6-8 cups of water. No chocolate and alcohol.....plus a lot of veggie in your diet.
Try Murad or Kiehls. Both are kind of pricey. But I had the same problem with Proactive. If you have rosacea or sensitive skin these two brands might work better.
I love Clinique's 3-Step. All of their makeup is hypo-allergenic too! There Turn-Around cream will also help with redness and blotchiness.

I too suffered from acne and after spending tons of cash on perscription stuff, I switched to this and am loving it!

I also had a dermatologist suggest Johnson and Johnson Purpose (http://www.purposeskincare.com/productGu鈥?/a> soap to wash and then put Cetaphil Gentle creme cleanser (http://www.cetaphil.com/products/Cleanse鈥?/a> on as a moisturizer and pat dry. I used this method all through my teens.

    Hope this helps!
There are some useful tips here.
murad makes a anti-aging anti acne set...it's kind of expensive from them but you can find there stuff for a lot cheaper other places online. Mary Kay time wise makes has a oil free wash and moisturizer use that with a regular spot treatment of salicylic acid or benzol peroxide...I like salicylic acid personally.

Does anyone have any ideas 4 skin care?

I'ts a great idea not to use products. Many of skin problems are a result of what we put on the face - so many of them contain harmful, skin irritating, skin aging ingredients. Simplify and go natural - that has been the healing route for many. I started using natural oils only and had truly remarkable results and for very little cost. They are natural moisturizers and far cheaper than commercial ones. Fine lines vanished, clogged pores vanished, and it give me a healthy, glowing, blemish free skin. It has permanently stayed that way. For acne prone skin use grape seed or lavender oils. It is recommended as an acne treatment does not clog pores and is natural skin healer. Massage into skin very thoroughly to start the healing. See my Best Answers - I give very precise info on how best to massage. And some have given glowing reports of the treatment's benefits. If you cannot find, email me and I will gladly email you the full instructions

    a MUST:

    night and day cream

    OPTIONAL:

    cleanser

    exfoliater

    toner

THE BRAND IS NORMADERM VICHY. WHAT WOULD THE TOTAL COST OF ALL OF THIS BE?Daily skin care routine for acne prone skin?using vichy?
First of all, why would a cleanser be optional?

Anyway, here's what it should consist of:

    -Cleanser

    -Toner

    -Acne Spot Treatment (if needed)

    - Moisturizer

    - Eye Cream

Weekly: exfoliatorDaily skin care routine for acne prone skin?using vichy?
Thank You for choosing me as best answer. I really appreciate it! Report Abuse

I'm not familiar with the brand you're interested in. However, a good skin care regime should consist of a cleanser, toner, moisturizer, and sunscreen (spf 15 or above). This is the bare minimum. Often times, you can purchase products containing salicylic acid if you're prone to acne. Also, you can find moisturizers that contain sunscreen in them.

I also use an anti-aging cream (at night) and an exfoliator (once a week).
not sure about the cost, but i know what i do is this :

i wake up, use a stridex cleaning pad on my face

then i use a clean %26amp; clear clenser

    thenn !

i take a clean %26amp; clear with benzyl peroxide spot treatment and put it on all my major zits.

try to go away from makeup = coverup bronzer powder etc.

    Using 2 skin-care products concurrently?

I have one Biore oil control cleanser and one Biore face scrub, cuz i haf oily skin AND kinda needed to get rid of all those stuff blocking my pores, is it ok to use the 2 together?Using 2 skin-care products concurrently?
depends what active ingredients are in the cleansers.

in general, if you take 2 face products at the same time it's not a big deal, especially if they are non-prescription. the biggest problem is getting dry skin as a result. after you wash your face, you don't want to have dry skin because this can cause your face to be MORE oily than when you started! this is because your skin needs some oil and will start to make more if you dry it out too much.

note: face scrubs arent a good idea if you have acne because the rubbing and harshness has been shown to worsen acne.

if you want a good product for your blackheads, use something with salicylic acid in it.

Best skin care product for large pores and uneven skin tone???

try biore products for large pores. I use their pore minimizing lightweight moisturizer spf 15. It's oil free and minimizes and smoothes. For uneven skin tone I use affirm 1x- it contains retinol. You smooth it on your face at night. A cheaper product to try is neutrogena healthyskin visiblyeven night concentrate. It has retinol and essential soy to help even out skin tone. I also use ddf sulfur therapeutic mask to keep pores clear and clear blemishes. Hope this helps.Best skin care product for large pores and uneven skin tone???

The BEST Skin Care System and Products???

For women over 40? Regardless of cost, what do you consider to be the absolute best skin care products out there, and why? Please tell me of your own experience(s) with the products you like and use.The BEST Skin Care System and Products???
    Hi:

I am a Registered Nurse and I specialize in skin care. Skin care is my passion and I have worked with hundredes of patients over the last 12 years.

All of my patients use the SKIN RENEWAL METHOD found at:

    www.aboutyourskincare.com

First of all, they provide you with a FREE SERVICE where you can email them any questions you have regarding skin care and a skin care expert/physician will answer you for FREE! I refer alot of people to their site.

Lastly, they have the most incredible products on the market. Reason being is because they consist of pure and concentrated extracts from fruits, vegetables ( ex: potatoes which produce hyaluronic acid good for wrinkle control) and vitamins. They dont mass produce therefore they can keep the products as pure as possible while not compromising the integrity of the products. They custom make the products specifically for your skin type.

I dont recommend store bought products because they are mass produced for millions of people and so it is not cost effective to use pure extracts ( they are very expensive).

They have a med spa in Bay Harbour ( it's the Beverly Hills of Miami) for over 26 year, they are reputable and the products are very fairly priced.

Good Luck! The BEST Skin Care System and Products???
I owned a spa for 7 years and the best anti-aging products are by a company called Phytomer (its professional you can only buy it in spas) their ogenage line is phenomenal but your looking at between $100-$250 for a moisturizer!!!!!

You can check the link below and get a facial done by an esethician, they recommend the perfect products for your skin.
umm now i use something called ';Biore'; with an accent on the last e.

Its in green containes or bottles.

Its a really good brand...it has nose strips, forehead strips, blackhead warming cleanser, face mask arming cleanser, 4 in 1 cleanser and toner.

it has done miracles to my face...

its ranges i think like 5 bucks to 14
I'm 24, I use Burts Bees Tomato Face Wash (for oily skin) and I use Bare Escentuals makeup......I swear by them both, they are the only two that really work for me (but I love mac too)
Im a 19 yo guy who uses ProActiv, shyt works. And its like 20 bucks.

I have struggled with blackheads on my nose forever. I have tried many skin care lines, also pore cleansers?

i was wondering if someone has a cure all!I have struggled with blackheads on my nose forever. I have tried many skin care lines, also pore cleansers?
I use a clay mask once or twice a week, to pull the blackheads up. First, I open my pores with hot water. Then I apply the mask and wait until it dries. After rinsing it off, I use a Biore pore strip to pull the blackheads out that were loosened. It doesn't get all my blackheads, but it does get a lot. Instead of using a pore strip after the mask, you can use a scrub to get rid of the blackheads. I find a pore strip is more effective after I use a mask.

Queen Helene Mint Julep Mask is just a few dollars. Olay also makes a clay mask. Sometimes Bath and Body Works has a sale and you can get C.O. Bigelow Purifying Cleansing Mask for half price. I use Grassroots Get Grounded Skin Purifying Clay Mask from Kohl's department store.

I hope this gives you some good ideas!I have struggled with blackheads on my nose forever. I have tried many skin care lines, also pore cleansers?
    1. Rinse your face with hot water to open your pores.

    2. Generously saturate a section of washcloth with baby oil (olive oil works well too).

    3. Place a dab of toothpaste (not the gel kind) on the oily washcloth.

    4. Gently and thoroughly rub the toothpaste over your nose with the oily cloth. Do it twice if you have a lot of blackheads.

    5. If you like, you can massage it into your whole face. Add more oil or toothpaste as necessary.

    6. Wait about 5 minutes, then rinse your face thoroughly with hot water and a clean washcloth.

    7. To finish, splash your face with cold water to close the pores. Pat dry with a clean towel.

    8. Your skin will be soft and free of blackheads.

*If you have sensitive skin, test this on your wrist first.
    hmm skin care
They wont completely go but you can lessen them. U need a good scrub..try shahnaz husain's shagrain..it reduced the black heads on my nose..i just have a few on the inner corners of my nose. use strips, scrubs and cleans..keep exfoliating and do some steaming as well.. all this helps..u have to keep going at it to get em off your face!
hey there, i have tried heaps of different natural cures but nothing was working, i really would like to just use natural things or store brought cleansers but they just dont work for me, so my mum got me PROACTIVE to use, and guess what it works, after 5 days, i have no spots on my forehead and the hormonal spots on my chin are going, and the black heads are all but gone!!!!!yay, i know its pricey( well it is here in AUS) but my skin looks amazing compared to just a week ago, i cant get over it,
i don't know about a cure all but have you tried biore strips?
    biore!!
Have you tried Avon or Clean and Clear or Neutogena
biore strips ARE your best bet. they work, trust me. you have to use them as often as recommended for best results, though.

    47. Honey is a great remedy for skin blemishes and acne because the honey kills bacteria.

These are some effective home remedies for the treatment of acne and blackheads.
If nothing works, get a facial. It really worked for me.
Biore has the nose strips that you use after taking a shower that work really well. They have them for the nose, forehead and chin I think. They work really well for me! Unfortunately I don't think there really is a cure. There are many skin care products out there (my favorites are neutrogena, biore, burt's bees and clinique) and they can help clear your acne, but if you stop using them, you risk getting breakouts all over again. Don't just use a cleanser, try to use a scrub at least 3 times a week. There are some good scrubs out there even if you have sensitive skin and they'll help clear away some of that oil from your pores.
don't worry chap.Pin them out each time. and a stage will come when u will be relieved from the problem of black heads.Otherwise use a trick

get your face coverved with the thin paste of yellow soil bar.It is specially used in india for clearing the slates.get its paste on the face for nearlly 20-30minutes. and then wash your face.ok
i think biore strips work awesome and apricot scrub is good too!!
me also! i have tried everything. idk what can get rid of them. sorry.

also i have tried biore strips...they do not work at all!

wht s meant by 'proactive skin care'? is it a cream?

Thanks to all for responding to my questn.. As our friends suggested, I used to apply Betnovate cream, but due to this, small small pimples are decreased but not the ditches. What is meant by 'Proactive skin care'? wht s meant by 'proactive skin care'? is it a cream?
Yeah Proactive is a three part system. It's easy and the medicated cream is very soothing to the skin - more so than Clearisil.

It's a monthly program - so you sign up for monthly deliveries that cost about $30 a month.

I know several people who have used it and it cleared everything up. I tried it a few years ago when my acne was it's worst and it didn't do anything. However, I used the medicated lotion later when I ran out of other stuff and I could tell a difference then. It depends on the skin type and type of acne you have. If you have really severe acne you might want to talk to a doctor about Acutane or other severe acne treatments. wht s meant by 'proactive skin care'? is it a cream?
proactiv skin care is a few products to help you have clearer skin

first it's the renewing cleanser and here's how to use it :::

Directions: Use morning and night. Apply a small (dime-sized) amount to dampened skin and gently massage for 1-2 minutes. Rinse thoroughly with warm water. Pat dry. Follow with Step 2: Revitalizing Toner.

Tip: You can use the Proactiv System on all acne-prone areas of your body.

Note: Renewing Cleanser contains benzoyl peroxide, which can bleach towels and fabrics.

then you have revitaling toner ::::

Directions: Use morning and night. Apply to your cleansed skin with a cotton ball or pad. Allow to dry. Follow with Step 3: Repairing Lotion.

Tip: Remember, if you're going outside, use sunscreen to protect your skin.

Note: If irritation or sensitivity develops, discontinue use of products and consult a doctor.

the last step is repairing lotion::

Directions: Use morning and night. After cleansing and toning, squeeze a pea-sized amount onto your palm and spread a thin layer over the entire affected area. Allow to dry. Do not rinse off.

Tip: If bothersome dryness or peeling occurs, reduce the amount or frequency of application.

Note: Repairing Lotion contains benzoyl peroxide, which can bleach towels and fabrics.
Proactiv Solution is different than other products and treatments. It's a revolutionary, dermatologist-developed, 3-step Combination Therapy system that clears and helps prevent breakouts. It's easy to make Proactiv part of your daily skin care regimen.

How Proactiv Works: Even though there's no cure for acne, Proactiv Solution treats acne safely and effectively by attacking it at the source, where a build-up of dead skin cells and bacteria clogs your pores.

Best lotions, moisturizers, and cleanser(skin care products..)??!?

    Hi everybody,

I want to know what your favorite lotions/moisturizers/ and cleansers are...I'm having a hard time choosing what products to buy(like do I buy from Dove, Olay, or Neutrogena..I can't decide..)

There are too many products to choose from(even more when you can't decide on what brand to buy)..

So pls tell me your fave skin care products, why you like them so much, and if you've ever tried Neutrogena, Olay, or Dove(and which one u liked the best)...THANK YOU!!!!Best lotions, moisturizers, and cleanser(skin care products..)??!?
Definitely Neutrogena. They're gentle. They work great. They are lightweight, non-greasy, quick absorbing. They have a great selection. They are hypo-allergenic, oil-free, non-comedogenic and dermatologist test. They are also reasonable priced. What more can I say! Olay would be my second choice. Dove products are too heavy and I don't care for the smell.Best lotions, moisturizers, and cleanser(skin care products..)??!?
    BABY OIL WORKS WONDERS =)
Out of the ';over the counter'; products I am only able to use DOVE or CARESS. I'm pretty much allergic to the rest of the store products.

Marykay and Avon actually have the best skin care products. I have sold both at different times. I sell Avon now though.... or will be soon. I am an Avon rep but am not currently active but hope to be within the next few weeks. I've also tried Clinique but don't really like their products except some of the make-up.

You can find representatives in your area for both MaryKay and Avon. The representative would also be able to help you find what will work best for you and let you sample the product before buying it. Avon is more affordable though. As a person that has sold both that is my opinion.

If you got the money to spend... go with MaryKay. But if your on a tight budget as most of us are... go with Avon.

My favorite is the ANEW products that AVON has. Anew is great for anti-aging and is available for ALL skin types whether it is dry, oily, sensitive or normal.

As far as lotions the SKIN SO SOFT with AVON. And not only does it keep your skin soft but keeps the mosquitoes away as well! I even use it on my pets to keep the fleas off of them. Silly I know but.... IT WORKS!
Ive always used Oil of olay. I like it better than clinique or anything. I use oil of olay clarity and its the only thing thats cleared up my skin beating perscriptions! Iuse the cleanser and the toner. I also use oil of olay moisturizer it makes ur face soft without making ur skin oily( and I have oily skin).
i dont liek any of those i use www.marykay.com it is amazing it smells good and works really well
My favourite is the Natural Elements skincare range-all natural and suitable for vegans too!
I dont like olay because I find it leaves a shine. I use neutrogena and they have i think its three choices for your skin type. It leaves my skin feeling soft and looking great plus its good for laying makeup over. And I dont use dove either because of its reputation. There are too many products to buy but ive had the best experience with neutrogena!

Olays website offers free samples if you want to try them id recommend that first.

Does anyone know a good skin care system? Anyone used philosophy?

    Hi,

Yes I use philosophy and it is really good!

I use their Purity cleanser to wash my face morning and night. It leaves my skin really clean without it feeling dry

I've tried everything from La Mer (but it was either continue using the product or pay my mortgage) to systems that you buy in the pharmacy (To be honest with Olay left my skin better than La Mer) Philosphy is the one skin care line I've actually seen make a difference.Does anyone know a good skin care system? apply herbal face pack 3 times a week
I use this very good stuff from a company called Arbon and they sell many lotions and facial washes. I have a 5 step process that I use daily that includes a daily cleanser, facial mask, dialy rinser,

daily moisturizer, and eye cream to prevent bags. They work wonders and get rid of and keep pimples and zits away.
