What do you think is the best acne cleanser system that can be bought at a walmart or something of the nature? My acne isn't too terrible, mild I would say, but I have mostly oily skin.Department store skin care?

She gives some great reviews.Department store skin care?
I would definitely recommend Bior'e. I had a bunch of zits and I started using it like, four days ago, and my face is clear, and I have less blackheads and I have smaller pores. Here's what it looks like: http://lushdesi.files.wordpress.com/2008鈥?/a>

I've also been using Garnier Nutritioniste, Nutri-Pure Detoxifying Wet Cleansing Towelettes. I use it when I wake up in the morning and when I take off my make-up. Here, it looks like this: https://www.overstockdrugstore.com/produ鈥?/a>
aveeno.com products works great at a reasonable price they help to clear acne try clear complexion line you can find it at walmart, target, rite aid , cvs.

Is Dermalogica Skin care line any good?

Dermalogica is great!!! I have used several of their products and continue to use them today.. This line is more for women who are between the ages of 20 to 30 something so if you fit in there then give them a shot, otherwise I would go for Guinot which is made for more mature skin care. Let me know if I can help with a specific product......

Can i use sunlight laundry soap as a soap base for making other skin care soaps with added essential oils?

I would like to rebatch the sunlight laundry soap as it is natural to make facial or skin care soaps, Is it proper and law ful for me to do such as i find no proper soap bases? Can i use sunlight laundry soap as a soap base for making other skin care soaps with added essential oils?
Dont you think Sunlight Laundry soap is a bit too harsh for facial skin? I think so, I mean Sunlight laundry soap is made to break down tough stains on clothes, surely you dont need that severity for oil and dirt on your face? There must be other soap bases, your just not taking the time and effort to look for them. Can i use sunlight laundry soap as a soap base for making other skin care soaps with added essential oils?
no, don't use it
Don't do that. Please.

tomatoe juice. i hate it to bits. but it just flushes all the spots and stuffs away. tomatoes are good for the skin.
Prune juice for a couple of days will flush your system and greatly aid in clearing your skin. I would suggest doing that first.

Hey everyone I want to know good mac cosmetics skin care line is so give me feedback thank.?

MAC was never really made to be a 'skincare' line. They are more into the here and now with colors and glamour rather than the long term skincare lines. Hence the younger customers. They rely on their co-owned companies Clinque and Estee Lauder to pick up the slack of skincare and skin problems. MAC has a small line and I have used most of it over the years. But now that I have crossed the line of 30... I wanted something more preventative so I didn't look like a raisin in another 10 years so I use Estee Lauder. It's pricey but I am addicted to it!

Hope this helps.Hey everyone I want to know good mac cosmetics skin care line is so give me feedback thank.?
I like Clinique cosmetics.Hey everyone I want to know good mac cosmetics skin care line is so give me feedback thank.?
everyone can use it as long only to add with small quantity
their foundation tends to be heavier coverage. they suggested it was not for me because i tend to break out easily. i love the the rest of their make up, though!
Ive heard good and bad things about Mac, but there is good and bad to everything for every one. May I suggest looking into Mary Kay. We offer a wonderful line of skin care products for all ages. Feel free to check it our yourself.
They use alot of oil in their products, so if you have oily skin, i'd stay away. I also noticed that their products don't cover well. Its not really a good brand for foundation wise, but for colors its amazing and trendy.

Good jimjilbang/skin care for guys?

hi me and my friend(boy) is going to korea and he was wondering for good skin care there(he has bad skin) and korea is famous for it, but heard skin care places are everywhere and was wondering which one is good? and also a good jimjilbang with many things to do...which one do you reccomend in incheon and seoul?Good jimjilbang/skin care for guys?
The best jjimjilbang in Seoul is called 신념찜질방. It is a huge 5 story jjimjilbang a 5 short walk from the Seoul Station main entrance. This place had everything! About 20 tubs, two floors with an array of saunas, arcade, gym, huge PC room, 3 restaurants, about 4 snack bars, movie room, etc. Basically everything you want. It is decently priced too 8000won until 10PM or 12000 won if you want to stay overnight. The price also INCLUDES clothing rentals.

Go check it out! Your buddies skin will be in Heaven!

  • Has anyone used or use Clinique's 3-Step Skin Care?

I got a few samples and was wondering how everyone liked or disliked it.

THANKS!Has anyone used or use Clinique's 3-Step Skin Care?
It's been around for years. I used it for quite a while %26amp; liked it. It's nice that they have the different systems to for dry or oily skin too! And always wait until they have their bonus! If you spend I think $17.50 the bonus gifts can be incredible :)Has anyone used or use Clinique's 3-Step Skin Care?
Where'd you get the samples from?
i liked it alot.. its a bit pricy, but it works wonders. im addicted to it.
Clinique is my favorite brand. 3 step skin care is a wonderful trio! :-) Iam still using it
I use it. It's rather outside my budget, but it really does work for keeping my skin clear, and that's worth it to me. It's really good, but if you've got really bad acne or you break out a lot, try Proactiv Solution, which is really good on bad breakouts.
ya it seems pretty good, me and my sis been using for few months.
I bought some a few years ago and i have really oily skin and it made it so much worse. So i pretty much lost my money. I would STRONGLY recommend Estee Lauder! Their makeup lasts all day and their skin care is great. And i know if you dont like the make up or skin care stuff you can return it and get a full refund no matter how much youve used.
my mom has been using it for years and her skin is very clear.
Back in my twenties, that is all I used. It definitely help clear up my skin and I started my teenaged daughter on it. She later switched to ProActive and found that it worked better for her. (For me -- now that I am older, my skin is a lot drier so I have changed to another brand.)
    I think it was swell!
Yes, it's an excellent product, (but the smell is not to good). ;(

    Good affordable skin care?

I have combination skin and I'm looking for a really hydrating skin care range. I looked at the new clinique 3 step progra

but I'm not willing to spend 150 for 3 months of skincare. Does anyone know another good but cheap line?Good affordable skin care?
You get what you pay for unfortunately.

So if you're unwilling to pay 50 a month (pretty reasonable) you're not going to get the results you want.Good affordable skin care?

Are botanics skin care products sold in boots actually produced by boots? where can i find info re producer?

I've looked at the packaging and it merely has Boots head office address on. It doesn't say 'produced for' so the products may be made in house. The only way to find out, I guess, is by asking Boots - I've looked at their website and that isn't very forthcoming. Some ethical retailers, most notably the Co-op, do say they are prepared to disclose the manufacturer of own brand products - Boots may be the same.

I need help with my skin care routine!?

i am 13 years old and need a new skin care regimen for myself. i have combination to normal skin. if you could supply products that are inexpensive that you could purchase from a canadian drugstore or a canadian store.

Thanks.I need help with my skin care routine!?
i would suggest dermaloigca products. alot of the ';expensive'; products just seem expensive but they tend to last 6 months or more where as the drugstore brands last a month. so when you add it up it is the same cost.the dermalogica face washes last me around 7 months adn the cost of one is around 40 i believe? you can find out more on www.dermalogica.com you can also find out where to get it at their website too. i would suggest a consultation with one of there estheticians so you can get the right products for your skin type.

    Whats your skin care routine?

    what products do you use?

and what can you recommend for meWhats your skin care routine?
i use neutrogena's cleanser/mask and then eucerin's hydro protect cream in the blue jar. love that one. supposed to tone but i have never found a toner i like or that doesn't sting so i skip that one. that's all. not heavy duty over here.Whats your skin care routine?
    1) Wash with soap (Hint: I can't tell what I use, but it's very inexpensive).

    2) Dry with a towel.

    3) Moisturize, 4 times a week.

Everyone in my family (at least 3 generations back) used the same routine. No one wrinkles until age 70, and no crow's feet until 74.

My grandmother does not have any lines on her face. (My grandfather does not have wrinkes either).

    I think it's genes + good hygiene.
I have always washed with Dove soap twice a day and use Oil of Olay twice a day. And I use Vaseline under my eyes at night....
    Mild scrub,

    neutrogena pink grapefruit wash,

    toner,

moisturizer with salycic acid on oily areas and a normal moisturizer on other areas.

And I do a clay mask once a week.

    Witch Hazel skin care questions?

I just got a bottle of Dickinson's Witch Hazel. Regular acne products haven't been working for me, so I thought I'd try the natural route. Has anyone used witch hazel? Did it work for you?

Also, under in ingredients, it reads:

All Natural Witch Hazel, containing Natural Alcohol 14% and Witch Hazel Extract.

    Is that biodegradable?

Thank you! =)Witch Hazel skin care questions?
I have acne and have used Witch Hazel. I found that it was great for soothing the skin during a breakout, but it won't prevent breakouts.

It is more effective on dry, normal and combination skin than it is on oily skin. Though it is gentle to all skin types. It is especially great to use in the warm Summer months as it is gentle enough to use several times a day to freshen up your skin.

Witch Hazel is a tried and true favorite for many women as it is for me, and as it was for my Mother and Grandmother before me.Witch Hazel skin care questions?
i started usin witch hazel for linament for my horse. got told it good for cleaning your face.

Yes, it's a English product however I have found a few sites that you can purchase it from in the US. Do not use products with mineral oil (hardens not softens)

and stick to a regime that works for you!

I love Arbonne's nutrimin c re9 my skin is soft, glowing and it's just been great -
the best ways to take care of your skin is to stay indoor places at hot, dry sunny mornings to keep your skin safe from getting sun burned. second if you work or stay in the sun alot use sun burn creams in your body to stay safe from sun burn. third use moisturizers to keep your body soft and healthy better than staying with dry skin. so remember to always take care of your skin. cya

**Before applying lemon juice, you just have to clean the scars with warm water. Then dab a teaspoon of lemon juice on cotton ball to be applied on the scars. Leave this for ten to fifteen minutes and see the results.**

    Also!!

umm it says that if you feel a pimple coming up,

to get a glass of plain water and pour some salt in it, stir it with a q-tip, then dip a cotton ball in it for about 15 seconds, hold it on your pimple for about 10-15 minutes. then take a dry cotton ball and wipe the pimple, but put pressure on it
Get a good face wash, something that will take away all the dead skin first. Then use one of those hot facial masks, to open your pores. Then use a some kind of liquid leave-on cleanser to clean your pores, and just try to do this once a week. For scaring, get basic scar healing cream, which you can get at pretty much any drug store.

Try not to put too much makeup on, because that's like suffocating your pores. Or at least wear face makeup that's healthy for your skin. Good luck :)

Good skin care will be the one that is:

    - Right for your skin type

    - Clinically proven

    - Guarantees results and does not say depending on individual

    - Cost effective

    - With natural Ingredients

    - If you don't like it you can refund and get your money back

    - Also where there is great customer service to help you with any questions you may have.

If you would like to get all of these and get the results you want contact me and I will let you know where to get it.

Hope that helps :-)What makes a good skin care brand/?
in skin care, many things are put into consideration..first,u have to determine your skin type,ur reactions and ur taste...secondly,depending on d results of the above ,it is advisable to use skin care products that hav been specified for ur skin type...but in general,if u cannot verify ur skin type et al,i would advise u go for mineral skin care products which have no SPFs,chemicals and r simply natural in production...hope u r satisfied?if not,ask further
You want to find products that are oil and fragrance free so that they don't irritate your skin. Also, I try to find companies that do not test on animals.

I love mark.'s new skincare line for those reasons.

They have a moisturizer with SPF30 called For Goodness Face ($15) that is great for everyday wear.
Well, I don't really use SPF anymore, because I have found that a little bit of sunshine kills my acne (I am more focused on NOT having any acne than wrinkles...)

BUT, I use to use Oil of Olay. Believe me, I have tried more expensive brands such as Estee' Lauder, Clinique, Lancome... But they all made me break out. EVEN THE CLINIQUE!!!
    I use Mary Kay

they have moisturizers with SPF and they have regular sunscreen. They are made naturally or @ least some of them are.

  • Skin Care Suggestions?

Any suggestions for skin treatment, that keeps pimples, pores, and zits away. And I do not want to order something on TV.Skin Care Suggestions?
ask your friend margaret at school she has aome tips and brands. :) I ESkin Care Suggestions?
    Pimples Home Remedies

Mix 1 tablespoon groundnut oil with 1 tablespoon fresh lime juice to prevent formation of blackheads and pimples.

Another overnight home remedy for zapping a zit is to put a dab of toothpaste on it to help dry it out. You may need to test this on a short-term basis to make sure it doesn't irritate your pimple. Calamine lotion will have the same drying effect.

Honey is a great remedy for pimples and acne. It kills bacteria and leaves the skin pimple free.

A common home remedy for pimples is toothpaste. Use the paste variety, not gel and gently apply a small drop directly on top of the blemish and let it dry. This will draw the pimple out and leave you blemish free. If left on too long, the skin may become irritated.

Juice of raw papaya is the best treatment for pimples. Apply fresh juice of raw papaya on pimples and get a good result.

Take a raw potato, peel and grate it. Put the grated into a muslin piece and tie it tightly to form a pad. Rub this pad all over the face in the firm, circular motions for about 5 minutes and then wash your face. Alternatively you could directly rub potato slices all over the face, Helps to get rid of blemishes and pimple scar.

    Pimples treatment using Zinc

Another useful remedy for acne and pimples is zinc. It should be taken in a dose of 50 mg daily for a month to reduce pimples. Then you can reduce the dose if noticable improvements are seen on your skin.

Home remedy for Pimple using Orange peel

Homemade Pimple Treatment using Orange peel has been found very effective. Pound the orange peel with water on a piece stone and apply to acne affected areas.

Mix equal amount of lemon juice and groundnut oil to form a paste. Apply on face and leave for 15 minutes and then wash off with water. Another good remedy to prevent pimples.

Mariglod petals crushed with a little castor oil can bring the zit to its head quickly. To suppress it, sandalwood paste with holy basil leaf helps.

To avoid transferring bacteria and germs, clean your pillowcase, washcloths, towels, make-up brushes and applicators frequently.

Apply fresh lime juice mixed to a glass of boiled milk as a face wash for acne, pimples, blackheads, and cracked skin.

Apply ripe tomatoes pulp on pimples and keet upto 1 hour, then wash.

Make a paste by mixing 3 tablespoons of honey and 1 teaspoon of cinnamon powder. Apply this paste on the pimples before sleeping and wash it next morning with warm water. Repeat for two weeks, pimples will disappear forever.

Use of sulphur soap is effective in keeping the oil glands clean and thus reducing pimples and acne. Grease can be removed by the use of lemon juice or camphor颅spirit.

Blend cucumber and make a paste. Apply this as a mask on your face and leave it for 1/2 hour and then rinse. This refreshes your skin and prevents acne.

A mask of grated apple mixed with a little honey is an excellent remedy for pimples. Most facial masks can be applied to the skin for 15-20 minutes then washed off with warm water, followed by a cold rinse.

    How to reduce pimples:

    Regularly shampoo your hair.

Avoid unnecessarily touching your affected areas.

Change your dirty cloths , always wear clean and fresh cloth.

Wash your face twice a day with mild soap.

Avoid over make-up, only wear on special occasions.

Try to minimize your stress levels.

Keep a food diary to work out.

I love it. you can email me if your interested and I can give you my id number to order ofline at www.arbonne.com.
Yes, You want clear and pretty skin well here how? This is no easy task and it means you will do this everyday for ever.

First think pretty. What you think about yourself is what you will see.

Second, start by cleaning your system from the inside out. Drink pure distilled water, drink fruit and vegatable juices cut out the garbage intake including water in the pipes.

Third, wash in pure distilled water every inch of your body.

Fourth, when you're done with the wash then wash with ALOE VERA GEL and leave it on for thirty minutes then wash it off with pure distilled water. Three times a day. You should start seeing changes in about 90 days. The changes will be small at first. Have faith in the process it does work.

This will cost about $20.00 a week. Buy the water by the case.

    I purchase 40 cases at a time.
I have oily, acne prone skin and huge pores! The thing that gets me up in the morning is Biore products. I have tried soo many products and this is what works best for me. Here is what and how I use:

Take a cotton ball and wet the cotton ball w/ this and rub this over your whole face! it smells like .. I dont know, but it smells good! Its not like other toners I've tried. It helps to close your pores and stuff and helps zits a bit. Use this, again, once in the morning and once at night after you cleanse.

    3. Moisturize: Biore Pore Minimizing Light Weight Moisturizer SPF 15: http://www.biore.com/usa/products/produc鈥?/a>

AMAZINGGG! After you put it on it doesnt leave your skin all greasy looking and feeling. The only downside is that its 12 bucks and quite a small bottle to me. Use after you cleanse and tone day and night. You can use this throughout the day if you like.

Those are the 3 things I do every morning and at night. It works for me. The cleanser and toner can be found for 6-8 bucks and the moisturizer is about 12 bucks. Pretty high prices but I'm willing to pay since I finally found something for my face. I also use Retin-A-Micro which is prescribed by my dermatologist.

Here are some more biore products:

The next thing I plan on trying is the Warming Black head scrub and I want to try the Clay Mask too. I have the most STUBBORN black heads on my nose! So I'm hoping those work too.

Just remember to keep these 3 steps up :] You can try whatever brand you like, I just told you what I use. I think about every product like has a cleanser, toner and moisturizer which is good.

    Hope that helps!
if you want something cheap that works and is worth every penny, nuetrogena face wash fragrance free of course and their acne cream, my kids (teenagers) use them both and it does wonder, if your face starts to dry use dove fragrance free face soup but, cont to use the acne cream as most dermatologist will recommend that line along with creams they prescribe. Anything that has the doctor seal on it, you know your buying a tested product.

What I ve to care for my oily skin?

Very much white heads on my face. What is the use of Tonner %26amp; Astrigent? Is it useful for my skin.I wash my face many time in day but every time there is oil on my face.Ehich soap, face wash, sunscream %26amp; if any cream i want to use when i apply poder so which cream i ve to use?I m taking 10 to 12 glasses of water daily %26amp; avoid spice packed foods.Plz help me which food i ve to teke.ThaxWhat I ve to care for my oily skin?
I have oily skin too and here's what I do to take care of it:

    - oil-free cleanser (a great product for people with oily skin because it doesn't add any extra oil in it and it isn't too harsh either.)

    - alcohol-free toner (toner gets rid of extra crap on your face i.e. makeup while soothing it. Alcohol can isrupt the PH balance of your skin, so opt for an alcohol-free version like Nivea Visage Gentle Toner [pink bottle])

    - oil-free moisturizer with spf 15-45 (oily skin needs to be moisturied too! The added spf will also protect your skin in the sun)

    - exfoliate your skin either once every week or once every two weeks (whichever one works better for you). St. Ive's Apricot Scrub for acne-prone/oily skin works rather well. For exfoliaters, you generally want to match the size of the bead to the size of your pores on your skin. If you have dilated pores (large pores that look a bit dotty/bumpy) you should opt for larger beads like the ones in St. Ive's Apricot Scrub.)

Just make sure you don't use more than 5 products on your face regularly. The mix of all those chemicals on your face could make things worse. However, oily skin can usually tolerate a lot.

I used to have tons of pimples (including those nasty cysts), blackheads, and whiteheads too until I started microdermabrasion and using Proactiv Solution. Cheesy, but it actually worked for me.

Have fun! What I ve to care for my oily skin?
It sounds like you need a skin care regiment with respected products. Unfortunately this means that you will need to try many things before you find something that will work. The key is to be consistant...you must stay with your regiment twice a day...when you get up in the morning and before you go to bed.

You will want to purchase products that are formulated for Combination to Oily skin. You should have a cleanser, exfoilant, ance treatment solution or toner, and a moisturizer. Yes...a moisturizer! One of the biggest causes of Oily skin is dry skin that over time compensated by over producing oil to sooth the skin.

Wash your face and neck with a gentle cleanser and warm water. Use a face cloth and apply cleanser in an upward motion. Rinse with cool water to close the pores. About 2 to 3 times a week you will want to use an exfiolant to get rid of dead skin cells. Do this after you have washed your face.

Then you can apply a toner or an acne treatment...avoid brands that contain alcohol or other ingredients that dry the skin (which can lead to Oil production).

When dry apply a moisterizer with an SPF of at least 25. Even if you don't spend a lot of time in the sun, flourescent lighting emits UVB rays which cause cancer not to mention wrinkles.

It will take some getting used to but once you will see an improvement each week you stck to your regiment. If you would like more advice on finding the right skin care please contact me at jeharrison@marykay.com . Mahalo.
Toner effectively removes residual makeup, dirt and cleanser while preparing the skin for moisturisation, and se that the toner is free from alcoholbcause it absorbs moisturefrom the skin. I suggest you to use artistry products which is oneof leading brandsin beauty and skin care, you can log on to the site http://ireddy.qhealthbeauty.com/. if u have any questions mail to nindureddy@yahoo.co.in, she is skin care consultant.
I don't think it matters what you eat, i tried all sorts when i had bad skin and it don't matter.

Toner tightens pores. Get some antibactieral face wash and don't use moisteriser. Also getting your face in the sun will dry it out. Obviously don't burn it so use sunblock. You can get sunblock for oily skin. Also steam your face every other day to unblock your pores. Try to relax stress doesn't help!
all this is depends on your skin dear..try this non medicated things like take the lime fruits and apply on your face ,then lets it dry and wash after like ten minutes,

and try also cucumber fruits and cuts in slices and wash your face morning and evening..

water is not that much quantity is about how much the fluds intake you have in you..like take tea in few cups per days..in daytimes add up the juice of fruits natural one and some few glass of water in different times,

all the best lets me know if it works.
i was like you, i still have oily skin but my spots have cleared up you need to get a really god exfoliator and use it twice a day, if your english there is a product called sudacrem which is brilliant i use it every day, i dont know if you can get it in america if not some antibacterial cream will help. try oil free ones for oily skin

How to care for oily skin?

I've got really oily skin. Like, in 2hours time after i've washed my face. I could finish one piece of oil-absorb paper, and maybe using 2nd piece. I really don't know how to take care, i've tried all kinds of facial foam and moisurizer, and it seemed no use. how often should i wash my face? I wash my face 3-4 times per day, many people suggest that i should only wash my face 2 timse per day. But it's too oily! Any suggestions? Thanks. How to care for oily skin?
The successful treatment of oily skin requires patience, since excessive oil production is a symptom of an internal problem. Therefore, a holistic approach is necessary. Results may be slow, and in extreme cases the client should be referred to a health professional. Although oiliness may not be completely eliminated, the condition can be improved and acne lesions avoided. This goal, together with making the skin look more attractive, should be the esthetician's objective.

The essential requirement of treating oily skin is to remove excess surface sebum without total removal of the skin lipids. Severe degreasing treatment can lead to an apparent worsening of sebum secretion, which defeats the aim of the cleansing. A method of cleansing this type of skin is to wash with a solution of a very mild synthetic detergent (surfactant, see below) containing no oils, waxes or any other lipid agent that could aggravate the oily condition of the skin, sometimes combined with a toning lotion. This kind of product eliminates the oily residue and debris from the skin surface. Some cleansing products contain low concentrations of hydroxy acids, which remove dead cells from the upper levels of the stratum corneum. They must be used on a regular basis to work adequately. A light moisturizer may be included in the product to counteract any drying effects of the cleanser.

An alternative form now available for facial cleansing is a lathering cloth. This is a growing segment of the cleansing market. Some of the clothes are designed to meet the specific needs of different skin types by delivering multiple skin benefits in addition to excellent cleansing. Due to the form itself, the cloth can contain a low level of surfactants making them mild to skin. These products are still able to generate a generous lather via the cloth structure, which incorporates air as the lather is generated. Being mild while also depositing conditioning agents directly onto the skin helps to improve the skin's overall condition beyond basic cleansing. Lastly, the different cloth textures allow for individualized, but gentle, exfoliation that removes skin flakes for a more even skin surface. These combination of benefits can eliminate the need of other specialty cleansing products, such as toners, make-up removers and exfoliators.

Use an astringent daily to remove excess oils. Don't use an alcohol-based products -- if you strip too much oil from your face, the skin will overcompensate and produce even more oil. Cleanse at least twice a day with a mild cleanser to help prevent clogged pores . But don't scrub hard or overwash your face. Moisturizing is not necessary on a daily basis. However, if your face feels tight after washing, then apply a light, oil-free moisturizer . Avoid mineral oils and cocoa butter. When choosing makeup, especially foundation and blush, buy oil-free products. Makeup that is water based and non-comedogenic won't clog pores. (There are also oil-absorbing foundations that help keep oil off the face.) Use a sunscreen that is not oil based, preferably a gel, as it's less greasy. Be sure to use a minimum SPF of 15. If you have breakouts, use a cleanser with salicylic acid to help exfoliate pores. There are also moisturizers that contain salicylic acid.

i hope this can help you. happy hunting

    regards

    Skin care for bumpy skin?

I have what my family calls ';chicken skin,'; I don't know if that is the correct term or not. On my arms and legs is where I mostly have this problem, but it also occurs on my stomach and back, and I've had it since I was little. It basically just looks like I have bumpy skin. It's normal coloring %26amp; etc, just rough/bumpy. The bumps on my arm, however, are red, where as every where else they are not. How can I get smoother skin? Is there a skin product that can solve my problem? A doctor a long time ago told me it was a form of acne, I don't know if this is correct or not. Is there a medication I should try? Anyone have any kind of information or advice?Skin care for bumpy skin?
fist try using skin cleaners/soaps that are natural or organic without detergents. Your skin may just be truely very sensitive.

Or it may be eczema, you may want to check with a dermatologist prior to trying to treat it. Because you may make it worse.

Good luck.Skin care for bumpy skin?

I also have this problem, and guess what 2 of my 3 kids have it also, I havent gone to the dermatologist but my kids pediatrician sent them to one and the dermatologist gave them some lotions which did not work at all. Then he recomended to use dove soap and to basically use everything fragrance free, which didnt help either , finally he just gave up on their problem and told me they would outgrow this skin condition, which I know they wont because Ive had it all my life.
I have this! Glad to hear I'm not alone, haven't found anything to get rid of it yet. Hate having bare legs because of it!
I had what sounds like the same thing on my arms when i was younger, i went to a dermatologist and found out that my dead skin cells didn't shed properly and built up in my skin. They told me to exfoliate everyday in the shower and gave me some lotion, I t really helped me. Why don't you try seeing a dermatologist?
try Proactiv Solution. It's a 3-step skin care system. It cleared up

    my skin problems.

Skin care advice for super soft skin?

i suggest to go for some home remedies rather than relayin on the drug store products which may not give the desired results or even make the situaion worse..

here r a few tips for a soft n healthy skin--

    1) take 2-3 teaspoons of rice powder and mix it in orange juice (sufficient amt so dat u get a smooth paste).apply it all over your face and neck n let it dry.wash it off with orange juice itself.it makes your skin glow, acts against pimples, removes black n white heads if any as rice powder s a good scrub..[i found this one too good...does miracles in days!!]

    2) rose water n oatmeal is very effective in removin blackheads n preventin future breakouts and closin the pores.apply oatmeal powder with rose water mixed into a paste n wash it off after 20-30 min using cold water.the cold water closes the newly cleaned pores, protecting against blackheads or breakouts in future

    3) if yo skin is very oily, apply egg white in layers until a thick mask is formed n wash it off after half an hour

    4) lemon(juice) and sugar mixture can b applied..apply 2-3 coats and wash it off when you feel its dry or after bout an hour.

    5) rubbin your skin with tomato juice n washing it off after 20 min s very good..keeps skin smooth and healthy

    6) rubbing ice cubes for 5 min after washing face with cold water or luke warm water before any make up or outing helps maintaing the oil in control givin no way to breakouts

    7) appying paste of mint leaves in water on your acne is good too

    8) if yo usin any gel for pimple tratment, use d one which contains clindamycin %26amp; nicotinamide

    9) i ld suggest d use of st.ives face scrub for oil %26amp; acne prone skin for washing yo skin..don wash it wid soap or face scrubs more than twice a day as dis would again lead to excess oil production.dun rub yo face hard usin towel, instead use tissues..

    10) apply calamine at night n wash it off in d morning

    11) applyin milk n sugar mixture and leaving it for 20-30 min is also good

    12) boil 2 pinches of saffron in milk n add turmeric if you r not allergic to it and apply it n wash it off after 30 min

13)apply honey on your face and neck and wash it off after 20 min

    14) carrots,cucumbers,papayas--make them into paste by either squeezing them or by addin milk can be used as face packs

    15) applyin red sandal wood powder mixed in either honey or milk or is a good facial.

    16) tomato juice n honey mixed can be used as a good facial

    17) lemon(juice) and tomato(juice) mixture can be applied..ie,2-3 coats and wash it off after bout 30 min

    18) u can use neem n turmeric paste..but some gets allergic to turmeric givin rise to further breakouts..

    19) rubbing your cheeks with beetroot can give them a natural

    blush

    Joesoef Skin Care Line?

If you have ever tried Joesoef skin care line did you like it. I'm thinking of ordering it but want to make sure it's worth it.Joesoef Skin Care Line?
Yes, I am a user and I love it! I have sensitive/combo skin, and it works great! My skin is completely different and I saw a difference within a week!!! I am sooooo happy I tried this. I was skeptical about the Anti-Acne Sulfur Soap 10%, since I have heard bar soap is not good for you, but this bar soap is different. You don't feel like you're using bar soap - no icky residue. Just clean. This was made by a dermatologist, so I think the formula is really high end, and the ingredients must be really high end. Surprisingly, the prices are really reasonable and affordable!!

  • What's a good face care regimen for oily skin and acne prone also what kind of products do u recommend for it?

For oily skin, I would suggest getting special tissues made to especially soak up the oil. You can get them either @ CVS or Victorias Secret($10).

For acne, dont get proactive because its fake. Use an oil free cleanser and toner. If you use a cleanser that has oil, then thats bad. Look for one that uses micro-beads to clean deep in your pores. Use CVS brand because its cheaper. Then, try not to touch your face as much as you usually do, because your hands pick up a bunch of oil. use ZIRH if you are an athlete, and use Clearasil regularly.

I've been watching too much of the Style Network lately. Anyway, they do lots of makeovers on people and it seems a visit to a dermatologist can make a big difference. Maybe you can try one of the facial treatments for improving skin. If you don't want to visit a dermatologist, treat yourself to a spa where they can either give you a facial, or do a glycolic peel. An experience person can advise you on the best treatment for your skin. Don't do it too much though, because your skin will suffer--just every 3-6 months, I believe.

    Good luck.

Does Mary Kay's skin care line work?

I Love mary kay! Thanks to velocity I have no acne. I have been using it since I was in my teens and have tried other brands with terrible results. It worked great for me. The price was absolutly wonderful too!.

As far as make-up, haven't tried it. Most perfumes are O.K.

Pricewise is not cheap but it's certainly worth the money.Does Mary Kay's skin care line work?
Yes! My friend's mom work for Mary Kay. Trust me.
I hate it because I am allergic and it leaves me red and puffy. Lots of people think its' great thogh.
I used Mary Kay for a few years and was never happy with it. After I stopped using their product, I didn't use anything for another few years. Then I found BeautiControl and absolutely love their products and what they have done for my skin.

Some local estheticians say that Mary Kay doesn't do much for your skin. But they have seen the wonderful results of a few of us that use BeautiControl products and are surprised by the results.

BeautiControl products rank up there with Clinique, Estee Lauder, Lancomb, etc. But they don't cost as much, and some have said that they are better quality. And, they also have a money back guarantee!

Dry skin caused by skin care?

    HI,

I've been for the past months expierencing dry and flaky skin.. I'm currently 21 - only a year ago - I had oily skin type.. Is it possible for one's skin type to shift so dramatically?

I might think the cause of my skin dryness, are probably skincare products.. I've really stepped up, in terms of using cleansers, moisturizers, face mask you name it.. could this be the problem?Dry skin caused by skin care?
exfoliate (st ives aricot face scrub, the course kind), THEN use your face wash, pat dry gently then moisturize immediately after you wash because it locks the water in your skin that it absorbed in the shower. you shouldnt use too many products, or hot-hot water.Dry skin caused by skin care?
yes, skin care products can cause dryness. Just find a lotion that doesn't irritate your skin and one that is noncomedogenic. Put lotion on 2-3 times a day, and ur skin should heal.

-If you keep experiencing dry skin, change ur products and go to a dermatologist. (bcar4l cuz dry skin cud cause Eczema)
too much cleansing without mosturizing can cause skin to dry
your skin probs may just be seasonal but, if you used really aggressive products before for oily skin, while your skin was combination/oily then most likely it is the cause of the prob.

the safest thing to do is to use products for all skin types until your skin gains back its natural oil and its PH level.

do keep in mind that flaky skin is also a sign of dehydration.

Skin Care - Washing My Face?

I'm currently using Proactiv, which works well on controlling my acne. However, I've recently noticed that I have these little red veins/capillaries around my mouth - most likely from the scrubbing agents in the cleanser. But since my skin is oily, the rough particles in the Proactiv cleanser is the only thing that really gets in my pores. Is there something else I can use as a cleanser to alternate that is good for oily skin and won't interfere with the Proactiv system? I also get those small round hard things coming out of my pores so I really need something that can deep clean daily, but that's not too harsh.Skin Care - Washing My Face?
1] Veins/capillaries - don't scrub your face so hard! People who have these usually are alcoholics, liver failure, or vigorous scrubbers!

2] How long is recently? If it's less than two weeks, your may be getting a lot of clogged pore 'gunk' out with the scrub. Rinse at least twice as much, to make sure nothing is left on your skin before step 2 and 3. [ examine those 'hard things' - are they the color of the proactive scrub, or just white?]

3] More than two weeks, alternate the scrub with a face wash for your skin type.Skin Care - Washing My Face?
i use to use clean %26amp; clear blackhead scrub it works really good and leaves your face feeling minty but ive also learned to change your product every month or so because your skin (or with shampoo -hair) gets use to it so it doesnt work as good as it did at the beginning
My friend use to have acne on his forehead, and he's really into health. So now he uses all natural products. There is this soap called Dr. Bonner's, and it's amazing. http://www.drbronner.com/index.html

Also for light treatments on acne, use DMSO cream, http://www.herbalremedies.com/dmso.html only use it in small amounts, like a dab on trouble spot area's.

Also be careful what you eat, because it plays affects on your skin and aging. It's better to eat organic, although it's more money, it's worth it in the end. Stay away from using microwaves as well, instead use the stovetop. Take a good multi-vitamin.

Hope that helped, it's just my opinions.
I have struggled with acne for many years. I still continue to struggle with acne in my mid-20s and always seem to have a few breakouts. I have tried a variety of skin care products over the years. It's like I can never have perfectly clear skin anymore. But after using Zenmed products it's much better now and I am Totally satisfied with product quality and results. I recommend Zenmed products for sure!
I have friends who have used Proactive and over time have developed irritated skin. With acne prone skin you should not be using a scrub. Visit www.celestebenoist.myarbonne.com and look at the Clear Advantage acne line. Botanically-based skin care is what your skin needs to heal and function properly.

    Skin care products for men?

Okay, I know it's taboo for men to wear any make-up, (unless there on TV, theatre, movies, etc) but what about skin care products? Which skin care products could men get away with wearing and not make them look too feminine or prissy looking?

I have see ads for Pro-Active but does this product show up on men's faces (like he's wearing cosmetics) when men wear it? What about the other skin care products that women use, are they okay for men to wear also?Skin care products for men?

    Skin Care for my face?

I am 32 year old female that has trouble with acne. I mostly get really bad breakouts and I have blackheads. What is the best method to get rid of this.Skin Care for my face?
try proactive or oxy facial wash. oxy is a lot cheaper and you can find it almost anywhere so thats probably the better optionSkin Care for my face?
You know i tried alot of stuff as well. But it was just too harsh for my skin. Then I gave a try to natural products instead of stuff with chemicals. Natural products works the best.

-Seaora (Adovia) acne soap. It helped so much. Its mild, and it really works, well at least for me. Try It.

    -Just use natural products.

    Good Luck !

What is skin, hair care and hygeine routine of your 19 month old baby?

my son is 14 months, and I give him a bath every night. I use to wash his hair every night, but he started getting ear infections, so I only wash his hair twice a week (his hair a short, we cut it recently, so easy to clean). I put lotion on him every time he gets a bath. I brush his teeth every night before bed (sometimes he falls asleep before I could get a done and I do it in the morning). What is skin, hair care and hygeine routine of your 19 month old baby?
I take my 2 year old a bath about 3x's a week during winter due to it being cold outside..but now that its beginning to warm up she take a bath or shower just about everyday...because she plays outside and gets dirty..she has alot of hair so we wash it everytime..i always put baby lotion on her....(smells so good) She has an electronic toothbrush (spongbob) that she uses to brush her teeth in the morning with her Dad and at night when i am there before she lays down for bed....What is skin, hair care and hygeine routine of your 19 month old baby?
My son is now four. WHen he was that small, I would give him a bath in the morning, and maybe at night. I washed his hair once a week, or as needed, and put plenty of baby lotion on him so he can smell so sweet!

By that time, I was trying to get him on the potty, but he would still wear pull ups until he was 3.

Im 14 is it ok for me to use anti-aging skin care?

I wouldn't do anything crazy (like chemical peels, ouch). But products like Neutrogena, Aveeno, Olay would be fine. They're going to be more moisturizing than the products aimed at teens, plus a lot of the Neutrogena anti-aging lotions/creams have antioxidants, which are good for your skin.

Drink lots of water and take vitamins!

Oh, she's right about the sunscreen! I'm going to sound like a Neutrogena commercial, but they have great sunscreens! I just got the dry-touch, and it's really not greasy or heavy and gives great sun protection!Im 14 is it ok for me to use anti-aging skin care?
The best way you can prevent aging is to protect your skin against the sun. Sunscreen and a hat will help so much. It is the sun that ages you prematurely. A tan is great but you will pay dearly when you get older. Take it from me I know, not to mention the age spots and skin cancer.Im 14 is it ok for me to use anti-aging skin care?
Wait till your fuly grown (18)

that stuff has so many chemicals in it that it can damage your skin if you use it for too long.

Just use Aveeno, Neutrogena, Cetapil, Clean and Clear... stuff like that for now.

my old bf used clinique and he loved it. my uncle uses clarins and it was the only thing to stop his oily skin. i personally think clarins is the better bet, but best idea is to go to the counters and get some samples and see how you get on. don't be scared, i used to sell lots of mens products when i worked on the counters!!
My husband is very happy with Clinique - and it's cheaper than the brands you've been using. Ask the assistant if she's got any samples and see how you like it.

Theres a metal splint in my big toe & its deeply in my skin is in time for medical care or is another way?

Is there a more natural way to remove it?Theres a metal splint in my big toe %26amp; its deeply in my skin is in time for medical care or is another way?
i get these alot. most of the time, you can squeeze it out once it gets a bit infected but sometimes it just sits there causing pain and basically grows over. what i do then is grab the nail clippers and using the corner, cut into the area until you can expose some of it, then grab it with tweezers.Theres a metal splint in my big toe %26amp; its deeply in my skin is in time for medical care or is another way?
Hold your breath and grab onto it with needle nose pliers or tweezers and pull. If you can`t do it yourself you need to go get medical attention or it will get infected.
A splint should not be embedding itself in your skin. Prop up your foot above heart level to get some of the swelling down and call your doc and report the problem. I wouldn't remove it unless my toe was turning blue or certainly cutting off circulation. Godloveya.

Im 20 too and a knowledgable older woman told me to start skin care against fine lines and all that stuff early, I use mary kay, works great for me. My daily routine has this day solution and it has sunscreen it. Dosent make me oily or anything. If Im going put any kind of sunscreen on my face it has to be something particullary for my face. I have all that greasy mess like the ones for you body.
A moisturiser with spf 15 in, take omega oils which is natures way of stopping wrinkles. Tons of water, fruit and veg, don't smoke, not too much alcohol, don't sunbathe, don't stress out or frown, get early nights, exfoliate once a week (I use a mix of oatbran and water) and do facial exercises.
Arbonne is amazing, their line called 'Intelligence' is what I have used for a year. I have always had a really hard time with skin care and keeping my skin balanced. It was too oily, too dry, oily with dry patches, and constant breakouts. I'm 25 now and it had been a battle since I was a teenager, I'm so glad it's over. Their website is www.arbonne.com, it's one of those 'home based business' companies, so you can't buy it at the store. Their prices are pretty much the same as Clinique and others like them, but the products are SO much better. If you know of a consultant in your area ask them about signing up for $36 to get the 35% discount, that's what I did. You can buy product for 35% off retail, people can buy retail online under you and you can make a few bucks, it's pretty cool. I just do it for the discount though. =0) Good luck!
the number 1 skin Care Product in the country for 13 yrs in a row has been Mary Kay cosmetics I would give them as try.

I've tried all of these natural skin care remedies and they are awesome.

    1. Squeeze the juice from an orange, then strain the pulp; using your fingers, pat the liquid on your face. The juice will evaporate quickly and leave you with a radiant glow. Plus you'll have the benefits of the antioxidant vitamin C.

    2. Mash half a banana and rub it into patches of dry skin. Leave it on for 5 minutes, then rinse well. Your skin will be baby soft. BONUS: the potassium in the banana will help erase the dark circles under your eyes.

    3. Snip off the foot section from an old pair of pantyhose and fill with one cup uncooked oatmeal. Now carefully tie the ';oatmeal foot'; to the faucet of your tub (you want the water to run through the oatmeal). Now fill the tub and soak away your dry, itchy skin.

    4. Blend 2 cups crushed macadamia nuts with 2 sprigs fresh mint and a half-cup of honey. Mix into a paste and rub over your face to exfoliate dead skin. Rinse and pat dry. (Can be used on entire body as well.)

    5. Mash a ripe mango with one tablespoon plain yogurt. Add 2 egg yolks and blend. Work the mix into your hair, then cover your head with a shower cap and leave in place 20 minutes. Shampoo thoroughly. It's the ultimate hair conditioner!

  • Murad Skin Care, good or bad?

I've tried everything from Neutrogena, Clearasil, to clean and clear. I have had pretty much no luck. I continue to break out no matter what I use. I breakout mostly in my hairline, chest, back, and forehead. Plus I have so many blackheads on my nose. I want my face to be flawless again. Would this work or is it just a waste? Feel free to type problems with it and whether it will work or not.. thanks so much%26lt;3333333

:DMurad Skin Care, good or bad?
I never tried Murad, but I work in a store that sells it. Drop by the nearest Bath and Body Works Flagship store and ask for samples of Murad. Only the Flagship stores carry it. That way you can try it for yourself w/out shelling out big bucks.

I'm currently using ProActiv and I am seeing good results. My skin is clearer than ever and it feels and looks a lot more even. I wasn't a believer in ProActiv at first from all the bad reviews given by people with bad experiences with it. I realized now you cannot judge a product without trying it for yourself.

Everyone's skin is different. What works for some, may not work for you. Good luck.Murad Skin Care, good or bad?
well for me i used it b4 i tried proactiv and it did nothing to my face. I even tried everything on the shelves from the generic stuff to the really expensive stuff. I tried Murad and i was not satisfied. If you want try Proactiv it worked for me and now im clear and ive been using it for almost a year.
SeaBreeze my friend. Go get SeaBreeze and Cotton balls. It helped me a whole lot.

Does Loreal Acne response skin care work?

no... proper diet.. oxy pads.. careful cleansing of your face using non drying creams... drinking water and sweating work much better than this expensive product.

most products that you must apply to the face clog pores.

use oxy and do drink more water.. stay away from foods that have to much chemicals...

exercise with much perspiration is a great way to clean the pores.. of course using a dry towel and wiping in circular motions... and showering afterwards does help and is much cheaper.

    and works better.

after steam cleaning a face use again a dry towel and wipe in circular motions.

Is this a good skin care routine???

I want to do it for 3 months, over the summer.

    First:Cleanser-

Neutrogena Oil-Free Acne Wash Foam Cleanser

    Second:Toner-

    Dickinson's witch hazel-Daily Facial Toner

    Third: Moisturizer-

Neutrogena Rapid Clear Acne Defense Lotion

Does this sound good for acne prone skin? Why or wHY NOT?Is this a good skin care routine???
i use the same , nearly.

i use all 3 you do, then i use neutrogena moisturizer after woulds, as the dickinsons facial toner does dry out your skin, so after i put the spot defense on i put the neutrogena moisturizer on, to hydrate my skin, and it helps against spots too :D

and it really works for me, i have been using it since 3st april and i havent have a single spot!Is this a good skin care routine???
It seems good. I would recommend the Neutrogena products cuz i have used that brand and i dont know about Dickinson's cuz i have not used that. Anyway make sure that your skin doesnot react to any of these products first of all. Drink about 8 glasses of water a day. Avoid eating heaty foods like lots of pineapples/jack fruit/prawns if you have acne..
its good except for the second....u should stick with the same product the whole way through not switch it up

Example: first neutrogena like you have

    second another neutrogena toner

    third same you have

    DONT DO

    first neutrogena

second BLAH BLAH and sons claener

    third proactiv

each product is made with certain stuff so dont mix it up but your first and third are are great choices

    good luck
hmmm are you going to be doing this at night or in the morning...cuz if your doing this at night...i guess it would be okay..but if your doing it in the morning then you should just wash your face and put aveeno moisturizer spf15.... i recomend you do the cleanser and toner at night, and in the morning do the cleanser and moisturizer..the moisturizer works great because it moisturizes ur face and it also helps you not get sunburnt =]
it sounds good, also drink lots of water,it helped me get rid of dark spots.and try to not wear make-up over the summer unless it non-comegenic
I don't think it is the best skin care routine because witch hazel brings out the acne and your using things to get rid of it. So its not completely going away just hiding
    this is the best technique

Why is it important to care for a 3-5 year old skin?

Take care of it now, and it will take care of itself later.

Skin care made of natural ingredients more better????

Is it skin care products made of natural ingredients like the body shop and the face shop more better or more suited for the majority of people????I had a friend who is an aspiring beautician told me her friend used products from the body shop and had problems!!!!!!Skin care made of natural ingredients more better????
ready made products or herbal product claiming natural ussually not that much natural. So the effect on that kind is only minimal. If you know natural homemade methods(ingrediants from your kitchen cabinet) you get skin care so natural.

Here are some natural homemade tips to skin care--

For dry skin: Mix half teaspoon honey with the yolk of an egg and one tablespoon dried milk powder. Mix into a paste and apply. Remove after 20 minutes with water.

For oily skins: Mix half teaspoon honey with egg white and oneteaspoon lemon juice. Add fuller' a

For oily skin and enlarged: Add lemon juice and a littlemilk to oatmeal. Apply the paste and remove after 20 minutes with water. Do not use if there are eruptions.

For oily and combination skins: Mix one tablespoon yoghurt withfuller's earth and apply. Yoghurt itself can be applied on the face. It helps to soften the skin and restores the natural acid mantle.

For blackheads: Add the white of an egg to oatmeal and apply for 15 to 20 minutes. Remove with water, rubbing gently.

For sunburn: Add a little lemon juice to milk and apply with cotton wool. Mayonnaise can also be applied by itself. It helps to soothe sunburn..... read more----Skin care made of natural ingredients more better????
The Body Shop stuff is not actually 'natural' at all. If you look on the ingredients labels you will see a list of unpronounceable chemicals. These are synthetic ingredients that are made in factories and do not grow out of the ground.

These chemicals can cause skin rashes and allergies. Believe me - I have suffered!

I'm looking for ideas for a skin care/bath basket. The recipient cannot have scents in their products.?

No scented items and all of those ';natural'; additives are a no-no because of a skin issues. She wants bath stuff she can use but what should I put in the basket? I have a loofah on a long handle and that's about it so far. Thanks.I'm looking for ideas for a skin care/bath basket. The recipient cannot have scents in their products.?
Cold cream- unscented soaps (like PURE) a jar of honey and some bath crystals- (colored but unscented) my guess is she should stay away from all of these thoughI'm looking for ideas for a skin care/bath basket. The recipient cannot have scents in their products.?
Purchase some Burts Bee's products. They are hypoallergenic, and are safe to use on babies and adults, also, they are not scented and have very limited ingredients. Good luck, and Merry Christmas.
You should try Clinique products. They have a ton of fragrance free body care.
Powdered milk works great in the bath as a skin softener. You can always use fruits and vegetables for all your skin, hair, nails and appetite needs. Natural means grown from the ground. You'd be surprised how a lemon can become a skin astringent.
Arbonne has great products that meet those qualifications. There are also bath ';teas'; that look like giant tea bags and are filled with herbs that should work for her as well.
Here is a website that offers many products that would work for your friend!
Try making up a basket with Aveeno products you can get at any Wal-mart or drug store, they come in scent free.
what about products from L'Occitane? Their website indicates there products are all natural with things like shea butter, lavender, etc.

  • Skin care question?

I have really wacky skin! I am 26 years old but I am breaking out more now then in high school! I've read up on skin care and it always has categories for what type of skin you have and one of those is an oily t-zone. My skin is the complete opposite! My T-zone is dry and the rest of my face is oily! I just want to have a nice complexion without having to wear alot of foundation! I drink water, use acne cream and masks and hydration cream. I wear sunscreen and I don't smoke and I avoid the sun. What else is a girl to do? I'm also fair skinned and hate my reddish pink undertones! Help! Oh yeah and I wash my make up off with expensive facial cleaner (Philosiphy's purity) every night and I've also went 2 weeks with no makeup and it still did not help.I also take a mulit vitamin and eat romaine lettuce....Skin care question?
I have sensitive skin problems too. Now I use the Pure Olive Oil products from Japan to moisture and protect my skin from UV rays. my skin condition is in very much better condition now.

Email to following website for FREE OLIVE OIL SAMPLES and their recommendation. The staff is very prompt and helpful too.Skin care question?
The first thing your probably not going to like... Throw that expensive cream away. You are damaging your skin. The reason why your skin is becoming more oily as you get older is because of Over Exfoliation. When you exfoliate your skin, you force New cells to grow. If you remove too many healthy skin cells you become an oil slick.

The best advice I can give is to tell you to save that money and go see a Clinique skin care Specialist. Dont worry, Its Free!!

They will help your skin.I know, I have been teaching proper skin care for 3 years now. I promise you will see results. Give your skin two weeks to adjust to any new routine. Make sure you go to some one who is experienced! Dont let an amature misslead you, and, Have fun with it. (just a thought, you dont sound like you really need acne products, they can have an adverse effect on skin that doesnt need it, stay clear from the acne line)
It seems to me that you are using too many products on your face. There are probably some hormonal changes going on and naturally, you want to address these issues.

Sometimes acne creams can be harsh, although they are made to target acne. Perhaps you should try using a mild cleanser that is botanically based along with an oil control product. I can recommend 4 products from Arbonne that may help you. For the face, use the cleansing gel followed by the personalizer (oil %26amp; redness control) followed by the skin conditioning oil. For the possible hormone imbalances, you can use either of Arbonne's balancing creams: Prolief or Phytoprolief. You can find them here... http://NuGenerationEntrepreneurs.myarbon鈥?/a>

If you have any questions, email me. These are just suggested products that may help you. Naturally, you would want to consult a doctor about the condition of your skin and let them advise you. However, many of us have found that doctors don't always have the best solutions or solutions that work because everyone is different. So, in the event you try other methods that don't work, I gave you my suggestion. The products are really good and they do work.

    With love,

    NGE
go to the doctor. it could be hormones
hormone imbalance, heredity, stress, and loads of other factors

    check with your doctor
I agree with the first response you received. My skin has always been flawless, but since I've turned 31, I've started to get odd breakouts. I went to the doctor and was told that I have an abundance of estrogen which can cause many symptoms, skin problems being only one of them.

The pill was an additional problem with me. The pill can be awesome for clearing up skin, but if you've got a bit too much estrogen, the pill can totally backfire, causing you all sorts of problems.
try benzamycin, ask your doctor about it you need a prescription.
Def see the doc....s/he will be able to rule out hormonal imbalances. In the mean time, skip the hydration cream and keep skin clean. Keep your hands off of your face, as well as the phone (this spreads the bacteria and can cause breakouts). In the interim, I suggest Bare Escentuals make-up. I too am pale with very pink undertones that I have always hated. This make-up is all mineral so it is great for your skin, and it covers flawlessly. It will completely even out the redness and give you a beautiful tone without looking ';cakey';. Good luck!
Eat calves liver medium rare once week for a few months and let me know how great it worked out. Also belly up to the salad bar and munch down a bunch of dark green leafy veggies regularly and eat 1-3 pieces of fruit daily. The liver is very high in A B and zinc all very important to the skin and the vitamins in food can be absorbed into the body unlike vitamin pills..
i agree.. go to the doctor and talk to a specialist/dermatologist. yes it could be hormones. i'm the same age and i'm going through all types of issues with my hormones, emotionally,etc... but mine hasn't shown up on my face (yet) good luck!
I would try visiting an esthetician. You could find one at a local spa or full service salon. They offer specialized treatments such as facials and and microderm abrasion that would remedy your problem. Best of luck!
Maybe its time to take a visit to the dermatologist and get some strong medications like Differin...thats what I had perscribed to me. It sounds like the only person who can really help your skin would be a doctor.
