Look at Sephora.com while this is a women's cosmetic store it has upscale men's products as well that really work.

my old bf used clinique and he loved it. my uncle uses clarins and it was the only thing to stop his oily skin. i personally think clarins is the better bet, but best idea is to go to the counters and get some samples and see how you get on. don't be scared, i used to sell lots of mens products when i worked on the counters!!
My husband is very happy with Clinique - and it's cheaper than the brands you've been using. Ask the assistant if she's got any samples and see how you like it.
